I like the show. Yeah its on MTV and is not music but still for some reason I like it. It is senseless destruction but to me it acts like a catharsis. Its like Aristotle said in the poetics. That is the whole purpose of theater and art, to live out those desires we have but not actually having to do them, which will hopefully satisfy those desires. I guess my id has a desire to be senselessly destructive and by watching it I can live it out without having to pay any consequences.
I don't watch tv much at all anymore, but I think Viva la Bam is crap. It's nothing but a bunch of rich kids destroying eachother's property... woopteefuckindoo. They should've used that money on some poor folks, or something that matters, not buckets of paint and Hummers.
It was funny at the very beginning but only because of his mom...it was funny when she actually got scared. She's a cute lady.
