Hi ,I am getting a little jealous hearing you got your own van to sleep out in.I know the beautifull feeling you get sleeping under the stars at night. There is nothing like it.Don't worry,i have a lot of experience sleeping outside and I live in south florida at the moment.i would love to help you and tell all the good spots to parkAlot of people out in the pacific north west do this but back east here it is rare..I live in palm beach county now so I realy only know that area the best.I know you can go to Delray beach after 6 pm [that is when the meter guy goes home]and park along the beach and go to sleep. There are cars parked there all night as I have been there all night to witness it. You have to leave in the morning though and try not to park in the same spot every night. You can go to Lake worth to but I think Lake worth has more police that could harass you.You can also go to any 24 hour walmart and park there.I have personaly seen a car parked in one in south florida walmart for over 4 months with out being moved before it was finaly towed. The Turnpike has great rest areas that are good to sleep in to.Don't let that scare you because I know you can get away with it.Message me back and I'll tell you more place to park and sleep that are safe down here.I wish you the greatest of luck. Peace&Love always! Cactusmann

Florida is not considered a vandwelling friendly state. And while Walmart does allow overnight stays, often (in Florida) local ordinances dis allow it and you will be rousted by the local men in blue.
