I love your attitude, keep thinking the way you do. Be an individual. You're right, they're just jealous. They figure if they get you to cut your hair, then they will be better than you by getting you to submit, because they are obviously watching you. Number one you listened to them, number two, they might think they looked better than you after you cut it. So, don't give in. I'm sure your just beautiful. Hang in there.
hmmm.....i don't like it when people think they're better than others because of their appearance; whether it's a hippy who thinks they're better because they have long hair or a conservative who thinks they're better because they're short haired and groomed. me personally, when i had short hair i dealt with people in the halls of high school calling me a dyke. while i have long dreadlocks they throw bottles and trash at me out the windows of moving cars. you're never gonna win by your appearance, only by your actions. and some of the most conservative looking people are some of the most hardcore liberals i've ever met. everyone holds something beautiful on their inside, even if it's hard to find behind the business suit or the long hair. yeah, that article may have been an interesting statement in high school, but it doesn't say much in the long run. but more power to you for speaking your mind and spreading your word fearlessly. not everyone does that....and i don't think it matters whether you're right or wrong, as long as you're speaking YOUR truth.
Everyone has some bi-pride, but some fight against it to realize it. But, yeah, your short hair looks really good. :H
I want to thank you for all of your comments, but I would like to remind everyone that the article was written strictly for fun. Our school paper does print just about everything, and for the most part, we are very liberal.
