Anyone from illinois??....i'm way norther illinois...like 10min from Great America

 

Hey i am in illinois west burb of chicago.....good ol' elmhurst

 

currently i reside in what they call the "sticks" of illinois.....very upper northwestern corner of illinois......15 minutes from the wisconsin border......40 minutes from the iowa border......

rural midwest america........its beautiful up here though....the scenery is AMAZING......its really the only hilly part of illinois....

 

Man illinois is not that bad...just not what i'm looking for yah know?!...i can't wait to get my VW and move out

just above springfield in the deadbeat no one gives a crap about you town of lincoln, on i-55, dont ever come here, i have been trying desperately to get out of here for a couple years now, im stuck, there is NO work to be found here at all anymore, did have full time full benefits plant employment until everything slowed up real bad, im sick of it, going to lose my sanity this winter if nothing comes up, i used to know alot of ppl here but most everyone has found a way out of here, most all have gone to another state, which is a VERY smart thing to do and actually have a future of any kind to look forward to, anyone who says its not that bad here is blinded and unaware and not in conscious reality

no tourism or other form of income for the county let alone city, no employment, no real population, no anything, at all, half the year is crappy cold rainy snowy icy, why anyone would want to stay in IL is beyond me, i cannot imagine why anyone would, i hardly even want to stay in this country let alone state,

im sick of it

i CANT freaking wait til the day comes that i am out of here to never look back, not even for a split second

will never m,iss this place in any way shape or form!

fuck this place!

i did used to be happy hyper positive and etc, all the time 24/7

this place has turned me into a pissed off lost confused lack of temper person, especially since mid-'02

Nothing to do here. I like to visit McHenry alot... they got Cloud 9 (smoke shop) and a salvation army which is totally intense... anything interesting around you guys?
