Can i wash my dreads with dr.bronners regulary? A guy with dreads told me no that i could only wash them once a month with that because its a conditioner? and that i should use knotty boy products?
Did he work for Knotty Boy by any chance ??? he's full of crap, I use it once a week and so do many others, it's just a non residue free soap, just remember to dilute it 12:01
Well, did you like it? Why don't you try using it regularly and see. It is conditioning? (imo. yes), but not as much as other shampoo and it probably won't slow down the locking process. Residue? Only time will tell if you run into problems, just make sure you dilute and rinse properly. There is no need to buy the knottyboy shampoo, unless you really want to, but I think it's about the most expensive (dread shampoo) that's out there. I can't tell you if it's any good, I've never used it.
AFAIK bronners is sapponified fat with some essential oils thrown in, I doubt this passes as conditioner in any conventional sense seeing as how any scented soap is going to consist of pretty much the same.
wash your hair as often as you want with whatever you want. i suggest non-residue for younger locks, but it's up to you. if you use bronner liquid, dilute it 12:1
