I have been trying for years to pick the minds of breeders and gain a better understanding of the overall landscape but it seems like its pretty hard to get any strait answers.. I'm hoping that someone reading this might be willing to clarifying things for me. Why don't people create hybrids from their favorite clones using Colloidal Silver to produce the pollen necessary. This way there would be no mystery about the potency of the "father" Follow up questions when attempting to stabilize your favorite phenotype . If you started with 4 clones (2A and 2X) hermaphrodite one of each parent strain and cross it with the female of the other variety both females should seed out a 50/50 hybrid of all female seeds. Cant you take your favorite seedling/plant from each mother and inbreed them together (in a similar fashion) to stabilize your new strain? Or do you back breed to an aunt that has characteristics you find most suitable for your new hybrid? wouldn't that make it a 25/75 Or are you supposed to back breed that to an aunt on the other side of the family tree to get something more like 60/40? Also why are landrace strains so sought after when inbreeding tends to be avoided? Arent landrace strains the most inbred of all strains? (there is no cross breeding or hybridization going on there).

People do use collodial silver to reverse plants then self pollinate them they are called s1 seeds its how a lot of the female seeds are made. But this method does not create identical plants to the mother theres still plenty of different pheno types.
