So I have no tolerance to opiates and i have some methadone...

I have little experience with opiates, for a few months i was doing oxy a few times a week, never daily, and i would do 40-60mg in a day. i had days where i was puking my guts out cause i did too much. Its been some time since then(probably a year), my last opiate dose(s) were about a week ago and it was on the new time released oxy.. 40mg...(my friend sent me 6) i took one.. didnt get toooo much from it but i could tell i took something. another day i took 60mg of the time release oxy and it still didnt make it any better..

my question is how much methadone should i use to get high for fun with no tolerance to opiates? 5mg? methadone scares me so better safe than sorry and all the conversion charts out there contradict themselves.. help me not kill myself!

is the "..." because its really dumb to try to get high off of methadone even with no tolerance? it was the only opiate available to me at the time :/

No,, Its a safe dose with a low tolerance... It takes a while before it begins to work.. you may not feel anything right away, Dont take anymore than the 10mg. Wait!! it may take up to 2 to 4 hours to begin to get warm inside..

but when it does. Methadone lasts very long time..

Be careful taking any more than that however, as dose-effect relations are NOT linear, but exponential. That means that if 10mg of Methadone = 30mg Hydrocodone, 50mg of Methadone does NOT equal the expected 150mg of Hydrocodone, but about 1,000mg of Hydrocodone! So, be careful. See the sticky thread and find the article in it on methadone for proper dosing guidelines.
