Do you like? if so which ones. Its the insane attention to detail that gets me.

My favorites are orbiter and falcon 4.0 AF. fs2004 is cool too. I wanna check out X-plane, I imagine its crazy. Falcon AF has been so far.

I used to play Microsoft Fight Sims 1&2 when I had a joystick.
They were alright just too much shit to do while you were flying, like keyboard commands and stuff. I found the dogfights fun and the realistic flying from London-Paris trips to be boring as fuck. I know you can skip that shit but who has the patience to seriously do that?

IL 2 with all add ons
Unfortunately Flightsims require such an large investment in time.. [ 1 hour to remap keyboard for example]. And the investment in a good stick that is used only for this game
    Sort of dampens the fun..

One reaqlly needs a broard selection of games like those you mention and say Il2 and Flanker and there are a few real neat helo games. This justifies 100$ for a top line joystick. I'm an RPG guy.. doh.

Awww c'mon, you mean you didnt have an absolute blast mapping out the buttons, rudders, paddles and numerous other analog dials on the Saitek X-45?!

Seriously though, that mission builder gave the series nearly endless replayability.
