usually my meds help with my back/foot issues/headaches or whatever maybe wrong that day, but it just isnt touching my leg issues......both of them are so swollen and hurt so bad......i try to keep them elevated as much as possible, i have a dr appt on the 15th to see a surgeon to fix the problem, but man it cant get here fast enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PC have u tried compression socks? My swelling has gone down considerably since i started wearing them. If you can get past the old man stereotype......LOL
From the marks on that one leg it looks like some sort of dressing has been wrapped too tightly. Maybe if it were more loosely wrapped it would allow fluid to drain out of the leg more easily. But that's just a guess, I don't know the whole situation.
Thands Orison.... they diagnosed it as venous insufficency where the valves in my veins pump in my leg but the vein is too large and the valves dont overlap after they pump, so they dont close proper and blood flows backwards and ends up sitting there. there was an ace bandage on there but not to tight, if i even touch it with my finger, it will leave a mark, just the constant pressure of the ace bandage makes a larger more pronounced "dent"
Thats exactly one of the diagnosis' that my doctor talked to me about. Ill be doing the testing but my swelling has reduced significantly....
