Did you have fun? I love walking in nature the most, but I get a special thrill from being in public places.. Kind of like, because i'm not "meant" to be barefoot there.
I have always loved being barefoot but it almost cost me my foot one day. I jumped into a pond and there was a large piece of sheet metal just under the water needless to say i was walking home with my foot cut open like i had a flip flop on but it was just the bottom half of my foot that was doing the flipping and flopping. But other then that i have loved it all my life.
its ok i did not feel it but like 20 secs then it went numb.I also later in life get 22 diffident sets of stitches.I have ripped a 2 inch by 1 1/2 deep hole in my leg one day riding a bike.Another time as a kid a nes fell from a friends tv it was sitting on top of,hitting me in the head, sending me to the er getting stitches once again.lmao i dont know how the fuck i have almost made it to 30.
Last year my co-worker turned a machine on that i was cleaning up at work getting ready to go home for the day.The machine was a huge beard roller that my hand ran though and when we got my hand out 3 of my fingers was almost flat.Have you ever seen what busted open hot dogs look like when it is over cooked in the microwave?Thats what 3 of my fingers looked like.
You should check out Vibram Five Finger shoes!!! I just got a pair and they're great! So comfy but you definitlely need to get the right size. I wear a 9 1/2 womens and am a 41 in the vibram shoe size. Really funky looking shoes but super comfy. Feels like you're barefoot. I can't wait to go hiking/climbing around in them.
I am barefoot unless i have my croc's on but i will go take a look i have bad nerve pain in my feet so i can be picky if i have to wear a shoe.
geez that's rough...I didn't read this whole thread in detail. lol you seem to be coping with it pretty well though yays
holy shit man, you sound like Tim "the Toolman" Taylor on Home Improvement. the guy that turned on the machine while you were working on it, I woulda kicked some ass. I hope the next 30 go much more smoothly for you.
Lmao ty.That guy that did is a good friend still he was mopping and the handle hit the on switch. That is who had to drive me to the hosp. Still love going barefoot though so its all good.
