Ellen. Do you have "Note Pad" or any text editor program that you can type stuff in and save it? Hey ANYBODY. What's on a PC that you can use to type things? Help out Ellen and others here. I'm on a Mac. So, I don't know.

If 20 people write a one page story we have 20 pages on a book. If 20 people write a two page story we have 40 pages on a book. If 20 people write a 2 two page story we have 80 pages on a book.

If we can do 40 or 80 pages just consider. Most books are below 400 pages, maybe 350. Do you chick the link and se my story titles list. When I get those done, that's got to amount to 90 to 140 pages alone or more. I have old stuff that I had started for a book idea years ago. probably another 10 or 15 pages.

Sign me up. I'll probably come up with at lease 160 myself.

I got 20 people in my Buddy List right here in this forum. 2 or 3 stories each that can make up only 5 pages, is another 100 to bring the total to 260 trying to get to 350 leaves 90 pages left to hit a minimum for a Full BOOK.

Ranger is a book freak as are many of us. Cakes is a words smith as are a get many of us. We'll all write to show are stories to each other only. We can read and edit each other at the same time. How though ca this be?

I layout books in InDesign for a living and put in pictures. Again, How though ca this be?

Just think of a story or two.

We could split royalties. The more percentage of royalties you'd like the more story pages you'd type or get someone to type it for you if you can't type.

I can easily see Cakes writing one story that is two on three pages, twice in 7 days. What's that over two months time. 9 weeks time. So, our first book, and then our second book to follow.

Royalties split up, or maybe jointly we'll buy the White House, The Blue House and Cole Street House. Second book. Both Haight Street. Or Country property. Whichever. So, Write Hippies Write.

I think after 40 odd yrs, the statutes have run out on just about any crime that any of us committed. I dont think any of us committed any hanious crimes or any that we can talk about that is...lol.. J/K.

Ellen called me yesterday and we had a great conversation, we tried to fit in 35 yrs of living in an hour phone call. There is so much to catch up on for all of us to catch up on.

Ellen n I decided that Laborday would be to hot in Texas for most folks, hell it's too hot for texans. so we are trying to come up with a good time when the weather isnt so unforgiving. Anytime is good for me. We dont what you'd call work, I mean we dont punch no clock, so we are open.

Was there a time period when there was no federal law against L.S.D.?

On October 24, 1968, possession of LSD was made illegal in the United States. Anything that may have occurred before October 24, 1968 may be considered as legal or should be looked up within the law or within legal precedents.

LSD is Schedule I in the United States, according to the Controlled Substances Act of 1970.


Was there a time period when there was no federal law against marijuana?

Leary v. United States, 395 U.S. 6 (1969), is a U.S. Supreme Court case dealing with the constitutionality of Marijuana Tax Act. The unanimous opinion of the court declared the United States Marijuana Tax Act unconstitutional. The Marijuana Tax Act required self-incrimination, thus violating the Fifth Amendment of Constitution of the United States of America.

In May 19, 1969, after the Supreme Court’s ruling there was suddenly no federal law against marijuana. Seemingly anyone doing anything with marijuana at this point was doing so legally.
As every state’s law was based on the federal Tax Act and all states’ laws were also Tax Acts, although not each individually struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court, they’re basic premise that had been declared unconstitutional.

The Supreme Court of the United States decided the case of Leary v. United States on May 19, 1969.

The next and current federal law of prohibition against marijuana is The Controlled Substances Act which is a part of Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970, with became effective as of October 27, 1970.

This seems to beg the question, what was the story between May 19, 1969 and October 27, 1970? Should you think to count the months on your fingers then there seems to be five months here when marijuana was apparently totally legal in the United States.
