as i feel that we have all gotten a little closer over the weeks, more than just a bunch of pill poppers that outsiders prolly only see us being, i know that most of us regular posters are CPP and seeing a PM dr. or seeing a dr. for maintenance treatments, i would like to let the close knit folks here my latest drama.....which i also posted in the HEALTH section as im seeking input from there also....so if your bored or interested feel free to check out this link and let me know what you think.......http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?p=6874274#post6874274 Now the doppler tech already spoke to my PM dr who ordered the tests and he said to see the dr she recommended most likely for surgery, so i have a consult on June 15th with her, and will keep everyone posted on that mess, lol. MY moms said one lady had it and it was a small procedure, but the other lady she knew said the had to cut her wide open, so i guess its where its located the will determine the severity of the surgery.....Also kinda on a separate note, i was finally able to find a "wide open MRI" machine and was able to get my back mri'd after many months of dragging it out. The first mri they tried to stuff me into was a tube and i freaked out because im a big guy and very broad at the shoulders, so about 3/4 of the way in i lost it, and have been apprehensive about it since. But friday i was able to get images!!!!!!! now the tech didnt say anything but she was asking what i would consider to be "odd" questions, so i dont know if she saw somthing or not....So this coming tuesday the 31st, i will take my images into the more legit pain dr who actually writes referrals and looks at images and who actually does surgery's, lol the other dr, is just a little looser with the rx pad as im sure yall know my deal. so I'll let ya know what the doc says on tuesday afternoon, as im in there first thing in the a.m.

sorry for the long post, its been a busy but productive couple of days, and if you hung in there and read all this, THANKS!!!! i know the typing didnt go to waste, lol and yall know the opies make u chatty, so i can type like a mofo on them, hahahahahhah thanks again erryone!!!!!

Alright, I think I woke up from my nap and was staring right at a symptom of my own. about 2 weeks ago i had some severe swelling in my left leg along with a red blotchy area around my leg from just above my ankle going up about 3-4 inches. While the red blotchy area has since disappeared the swelling hasnt changed. Just at the onset of this i developed a temp of 104.0. After 1 day the temp reduced to just about normal and 1 day after was completely gone along with the red blotchy area a day after that. However like I said before the left lower extremity is still swollen. I will look your issue up and research it cause once i saw the red area it did seem to move a little bit but not at a pace i could actually see. What do you think Man?

I also posted this in the other forum:

Yep....I had the same thing. Venous Insufficiency in both my legs. I don't know if the surgery they are talking about is the same thing I had done, but what I had done was called VNUS CLOSURE. It's where they snake a a catheter up your leg from the ankle to your groin, then they heat the the tip of the catheter up and pull it slowly back down to your ankle. It basically burns the vein shut. It's quite a bit unpleasant, that damn thing gets hot as hell and you can feel it burning. They did it in the office and I only got valium and demerol so I was awake for the whole thing. The other procedure they may be talking about is stripping the veins out of your leg. If they are as bad as you say, that's probably what they intend to do. Good luck either way.

Wow, pork. I am sorry you have had to suffer so much both from chronic pain, and now this. You are right that this is more than an opioids forum! Me, you, bottleFED, osiron, and the other close knit members of this little community are like a family. We all are just regular people, who legally take opioids and it is great to come here and share advice about our meds, their interactions, and side-effects (cost too!!).

People who don't know about the close nature of this sub forum, and come posting rude comments simply aren't aware that it isn't a forum of junkies who dont care about living a well-rounded life. I hope some of them read this post and gain a sense of understanding.

I wish you the best. Keep us updated and stay strong!

as i managed to get my ass into my dr appt at 845 seeing as how i woke up at my desk again (slept here all night) and i woke up with a terrible headache which a quick line of stop sign seemed to take care of rather quickly, lol......i took my images of my back to my "legit" PM dr and he said he saw that I had bulging disc i think he said at 1, 2 and 3 and some kind of deterioration, as i was kinda out of it during the visit i really didnt catch it all, so i will run out today while im at my voluntary drug test program for work and pick up a copy of the report for the images, and then i will give ya'll a total update.....

the deal with the drug test is:

since im union(im not here to debate union or non union) i work out of a hiring hall, if u need 10 guys for a job that u cant man, u call the union hall and they send you the man power u need, now the contractor can specify that they want members of the LLMC drug test which is totally optional, BUT 99% of the contractors are going to want people who have taken the drug test. so if ur 500 on the book to go to work and people 1-499 didnt take the test, you will go out to work before them. So its kinda a mandatory voluntary type thing, lol. By taking the test you are consenting to random test and so on, if u are randomly tested and pass, you will receive a 100 bucks, lol for what??? Not sure, but hey cash is cash!!!! So i dont need to take this test but i rarely have any drugs in me that im not supposed to have in me (minus the one methadone scare i had at the PM Dr piss test, and havnt taken it since) and i do want to get back to work as soon as possible, im trying to get all of these loose end medical things and pety paperwork taken care of so i can just do my thang!!!!

thanks for reading, i have been chatting alot lately and standby for the MRI Report for the full jist of it!!!!!

And I quote, "i woke up at my desk again (slept here all night) and i woke up with a terrible headache which a quick line of stop sign seemed to take care of rather quickly, lol"

Say it aint fucking so. LMFAO bro. I cant count the number of times during the last 3 weeks since I started out on Opana that ive woke up at my desk from the night before. A shit load for sure. Keep us up to date PC, let us know how you're doing. Later Bro, ^5!

I just realized that I could come up for some crabcakes and ETK could take a short drive down to join us! Some info for possibly a later time!

LOL, i actually intended to take my meds and hit a hot shower (i was loading and unloading and setting 3'x2' concrete pavers. prolly around 12-15 of them and those hookers were heavy, i'd say about 90 pounds a piece) as i was pretty wore out, i had planned to shave in the tub, but i ended up nodding out in there at 11pm, my wife came in at 2:30 am and woke me up by flushing, lol i was sooooo cold, and my back was soooooo tight, it was terrible that the desk was better than the tub, lol

^I hope people read your post, pork, to realize that not all opioid users are useless to society. I doubt that the typical person who accuses us of those things couldn't begin to do the labor you were doing.

    update:

so after about 4 attempts to write this and going over my report to make it internet safe from all you creepy creepers, lol and my voluntary drug test was done, which while waiting i caught a serious wicked nod in the office waiting room, most likely due to the 40mg opana i blew, and 60mg of oxy and 2 soma i ate and the fact i was up at 7 a.m ish after sleeping in the tub for about 3 hours and then chased that with a 4 hour nap at my desk, i got a copy of my MRI report for my back. I have posted it below and as well in another health thread i started about my leg swelling. I am not really educated on parts or functions of the back as this is my first set of images i have ever had done to the area, so please anyone who has input please feel free to comment!!!!!!!!****Correction, i did have a xray on my back one time and he did say that i have a degeneritive spine, but he never said that "your back is looks like an 80 year olds or anything like that" So here it is, and thanks in advance!!!!!!
