Older movies are awesome. I too love black and white, especially anything with Humphrey Bogart. I think it's that the acting was so much better... you had to actually have talent to be in the movies in those days, you couldn't hide behind plastic surgery or special effects. Those movies, the old movies... they're the real thing.

Most movies today cannot surpass the old black and white and silent films. The old slapstick comedies with Chaplin, Harold Loyd, and Laurell and Hardy are great. Sunset Blvd. is one of my favorite older films, also just about anything by Orson Welles.

Ahhh Sunset Blvd... that was excellent. I think my favourite black and white is probably Casablanca, although the Frankenstein with Boris Karloff kicked a large amount of ass as well.

I love Sunset Blvd. too....Billy Wilder was a great director.

Arsenic and Old Lace is another fantastic film. Its about these 2 old women who run a bad and breakfast and poison the lonely male guests....and its a comedy.

Haha seamonster I remember that one.... Cary Grant, yes? That was a funny movie. Unfortunately, it was turned into a really, really bad stage play. *sigh*

My favourite black and white movies are M (1931), 12 Angry Men (1957) and The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre (1948), with Humphrey Bogart, the greatest actor of all time.
And i really want to see The Third Man, with Orson Welles..
