Judge overturns 300 year-old common law

    I don't think this would hold up in Federal Court, but it does set a dangerous precedent.

    Luckily I don't live in America, but the "they could sue" thing (although I find it funny lawsuits are so common there it is even dubiously being used as a valid substitute for regular law enforcement) is clearly just an excuse to give the police fewer barriers. The paperwork of democracy may be annoying, it may slow things down, but it is very preferable to the alternative...

    As much as I miss being young. I'm so happy that I'm old and retired. I would hate having to deal with some of the twits today that refer to themselfs as lawyers and judges.

    "Public Policy"
    That says it all. It replaced actual law in the 1930s.

    Those lucky authorities. I wish that I wasn't held accountable for my mistakes or for blatantly infringing on people's rights. Oh, all I need to do is become a policeman and my dream is attained!!!
