Feelin Hypnotized - (6 apb + Trip Report)

Substances: 6 apb (100 mgs)/ 5 apb (100 mgs)
Methoxetamine (~120-200 mgs = 2 unweighed lines)
Poppers (8-12 sniffs)

Background info:This evening was kind of up in the air, I planned on dealing with two compounds neither of which I had tried before and only found limited anecdotal trip reports on either of them and barely anything regarding the combo. Some of the reports regarding 6 apb at 100 mgs made me confident that I would be able to handle 200 mgs though. On top of that Colette was a dj I had heard good things about the live show but I only know a limited amount of her music from records which turned to be quite a bit different then what she brought in her live sets.

6 apb has been dubbed "Benzo Fury" by certain vendors and interest in it for me grew from last summer when it was supposed to be released. Due to delays and then supposedly random rcs being passed off as 6 apb, I kind of scratched that one off my to do list. But recently a vendor that I have respect for who refused to sell naphyrone to replace mephedrone and was one of the early vendors who said they would carry 6 apb only to let us all know issues with delays and such and said they would not sell it until it got sorted out finally stocked 6 apb. Based on reports I decided I was going to treat this experience more like Ecstasy as opposed to my do it at home lone and drone.

Trip Report: I got to the club at 11:00, took my 6 apb pellet right before entering, got inside and within 5 minutes took my 5 apb capsule. This was my first time at this club and it has a really nice atmosphere, upon entering there was a area for smoking which then leads to the main room that had lazers and this whirlwind of white lights that spun around the middle of the stage to give it a more rave-y vibe. Psychedelic screens were located at the base and behind where the Dj was playing. There was an upstairs area as well which had couches and futons to lay on, a pool table and stools to sit on where you could view the stage down below. The bathrooms had loads of candy decorating around the faucets :mickey:

So I wandered for a bit waiting for the 6 apb mix to kick in and I listened to the first dj who was decent. The inital alerts were pretty much not all that different from most psychedelics. I was on the second floor for the comeup and I knew I was beginning to feel effects but I couldn't exactly describe how I was feeling, soon lights became brighter and probably more pronounced in this environment with lazers bouncing and swirling everywhere then they would be in an intimate environment. I decided eventually I had to sit down on the futon as I was starting to feel fairly heavy, so I sat there for awhile. After about 10-15 minutes Colette's voice came on and waves of euphoria coursed throughout my body. Hearing her voice along with the thumping beats created this electric sensation that was almost unbearable but in the absolutely best way. I jumped right up and headed to one of the stools, watched her for about 5 minutes and then she started hitting some notes that made my head go from... her on the stage down to the table in front of me, I struggled with that table for a good 5 minutes or so before realizing I had to get up and pee. So I went to the bathroom caught my 6 apb roll a bit and went down to the main stage to dance. Dancing on this stuff felt great, the ability to sense timing and feel was heightened and I had the internal feeling of lightness, energy and euphoria that coursed throughout my body similar to Ecstasy.

I felt a willingness to communicate as well unlike Methylone and mephedrone, there was a good empathogenic vibe with this mix. The latter half of Colette's set focused more on her Djing and she sang sparsely, occasionally she would throw in a chorus or verse from one of her songs into the mix but not singing the whole song. The beats she laid down for the majority of the night were thumping, funky and sexy. After teasing us with samples saying "I got a crush on you" and ordering us "To drop the acid, take the acid" she brought things to a halt playing Welcome to Jamrock by Damian Marley probably for the dubbers out there and I do like that song, but after about a minute or so of that she turned it up again and pushed up the tempo and left the slow dub stuff in the dust with some thumping house beats and had me floored to the max. She played a great set, I was hoping for it to be a bit longer as I think it was on the shorter side of 2 hours but I was absolutely impressed. There was one more dj who played after her and I just kind of chilled out to him.

Mxe Trip:After the club I wandered a bit, landed myself in a porn shop loaded 2 lines of mxe and sniffed that, tried to do a pseudo kitty flip. I bought some poppers at the porn shop and made my way. The mxe kicked in strongly as I was wandering around a bit before work. There was no hole that I fell into on it but it felt pretty similar to about 175 mgs or so of ketamine. The lingering euphoria from the apb's probably added some extra euphoria to the mxe. But yah it reminded me of many of the alluring things I found in ketamine. Some of the notable effects were spatial awareness is drastically altered, things right in front of you can look somewhat far away and I feel very artificial on it from my walking to my talking to my thoughts. Everything in my functioning seems as if it's been stripped to some artificial base level of functioning. For instance an idea to like swiftly pick up a ball and throw it in pretty much one fluid motion does not compute, it would be about 3-4 rigid movements to complete that task. I huffed on some poppers intermittently while on the mxe which sort of boosted the effects for minutes at time, splitting my vision in two. I pretty much gave myself 4 1/2 hours or so before work but I think with the lingering apb's, the duration of mxe may have been even longer than I suspected. I went to work in a significantly altered consciousness but managed pretty well in all areas except my speech. This was my first time with mxe as well and I didn't keep in mind how long it lasted.

So 6apb or at least this mix 6 apb/5 apb impressed me as did Colette. The apb's probably won't appeal to anyone looking for a strong hallucinogenic experience but it is a very quality empathogenic/entactogenic experience. I think I prefer it to methylone and mephedrone certainly for the duration but it also does not feel quite as edgy or something as the cathinones. Very fun evening!

 

Nice report GB. Did you find it overstimulating at any point during your experience? Because in comparison to methylone/mephedrone which are pretty overstimulating, at least when your coming down.

 

No it didn't feel overstimulating at any point compared to lone/drone. There was some minor jaw tension which I needed gum for but I didn't have tremors at all and was never really anxious at any point. I didn't crave cigarettes or booze, but my body felt slightly exhausted coming down. It no doubt had stimulating qualities but compared to the cathinones it was more on the sluggish and floaty side.

 

That does sound more preferable.

 

what exactly are poppers? amyl nitrate? i've only heard about it, never researched it or seen it. what's it do?

Sounds interesting. I was waiting to see a TR here from a regular for 6-APB before I decided if I actually wanted any.

You say the stimulation is comparable to a cath. I assume it is smoother than MDPV though, right? I will have to refresh my memory on the difference in effects between 5 and 6-APB because however, I do remember wanting to try 6-APB more. The combo sounds nice, however. This was your first time with both chems? Have you tried them separately?

I have thought about trying MXE after a MDMA roll but never had both chems at the same time. I plan on this combo in the future though as soon as I can get both in again (Also stoked to try IMing MXE). It seems like it would be super nice on the comedown. Certainly seems like an awesome addition to the post MDMA glow. Definitely something I WOULDN'T do after a huge/long roll though. MXE tends to make me sleepless afterwards and I am sure it would result in a bad case of me feeling like ass.

Off topic but last roll I took nearly 400mg over a period of time and ended up rolling for 12 hours straight. THAT was a mistake. My brain HATED me for two days. My fiancées brain hated him even more. Don't know what made me think that would be a good idea.

Anyway, Glad you had a great time. The clubs in your neck of the woods sound amazing. I wish there were better clubs around here to enjoy. It's mostly Hip Hop clubs and Country bars, Meh. I decided I am going to roll for the Shpongletron show and take a hit (or two) of LSD for APC. Makes more sense than my original plan to do it the other way around. I will be in a smallish club for Shpongletron with lots of dancing and energy and the huge ampitheatre for APC which is more laid back and chill. Not to mention my fiancée will be driving only few min to a hotel for APC versus an hour back home from Shpongletron on a very very long bridge and boring desolate interstate.

Colette is more Chicago 'traditional' house, the stuff she spins live is not really like electrohouse like most of Deadmau5's stuff. Colette is Kind of more soulful, and more groove heavy opposed to synth heavy.

Yah I'm usually not on the lookout for these new chems but 'once you get locked into a serious drug habit the tendency is to push it as far as you can.'

 

Nice report GB. How would you compare the euphoria from the 5 and 6-apb combo to MDMA? Btw for people wondering 6-apb and 5-apb are molecularly exactly the same as MDMA except they are both missing one oxygen molecule, which one is missing is the only difference between 5 and 6 apb. I've been thinking about trying these but the source I found charged more per gram than I would pay for actual MDMA .... maybe I should look for some more sources. Because I bought methylone for less than 1/10 the price i pay for MDMA (granted I bought it in bulk to reduce the price), I haven't experimented with other MDMA like substances. I'm thinking about ordering some MDAI because I heard from a report that combining methylone and MDAI gives a very MDMA like roll. Although I'm also interested in MDAT too not sure which one will be better. But if i could get 5 or 6 apb cheaper I'd try that too.

 

I don't really care to get into comparing these chems, I'm sure the info will get out there eventually, some info already is. I know I always hate it when I hear some RC or new drug is touted as being like a 'legal acid' or 'legal coke' or whatever, I'm not interested in perpetuating those kind of rumors. I made some comparisons in the report and that's about as far as I care to go with it on a public board.

If price is a concern to you, I'd probably pass on it. It seems to be expensive most places and if you have a reliable molly/methylone connect, I'm sure you could find some various stronger hallucinogens to explore.

 

Fair enough, and yeah you're right when I was talking about their molecular structure I would have been right if i had said MDA instead of MDMA. Maybe I will order a small amount just for experimental and curiosity's sake.
