we dosed the microdots around 2 PM - two for me and one for my brother, for his 2nd trip ever. they were advertised as 150 ug each. it started to hit me quick and HARD. by the time we finished a 30 minute board game i was getting very anxious and had to change my setting fast. we decided to go for a walk which always curbs those feelings for me...only it was festival time, so there were tons of cars and people around. we were alright, but my brother said "we gotta get away from all these cars." i was leading us to a more wooded area of the park, away from all the festival goers. on our walk there we both felt like we might actually throw up - something i usually don't get from LSD, which might indicate that these doses are as potent as they say.

when we got there, we slowed down a bit and took in all the scenery. the plants were reminding us of a jungle or rainforest and my brother noted that he expected a jungle cat or a lion to jump out at any moment. or maybe an aborigine dressed in a loin cloth. we looked at all the details of nature and talked about what it might be like to "be the first human." talked about the invention of cities and stuff like that, and how we don't take time to appreciate the small stuff in our everyday lives. we continued to walk around for awhile, but were getting very thirsty and hungry. so we made our way back to the apt.

when we got back, we tore into an orange i was saving for the occasion. BEST...ORANGE...EVER. then we listened to music for bit while laying down. mostly Built to Spill, The Dirty Heads, and Sublime. here are a few songs that stuck out the most.

this was my brother's "favorite new band and favorite new song"

this one sounded LIVE - like the band was in the room.

and this was very trippy in an eerie sort of way - i like the shout out to the headphone wearers. the effect was still VERY noticeable through my speakers.

then we decided to go for a bike ride to the cemetery. my fiance would join us. her and i each took a couple bong rips, and off we were. i walked out with flip flops on, and i felt naked without my backpack, and a jacket (like i always wear when i ride my bike to work). my brother was wearing very old comfortable shoes that made him feel like he wasn't wearing shoes at all. before we got going, he ripped a band-aid off from scraping his leg earlier - and it was soaked in blood. we both started laughing and making a huge deal, embarrassing my fiance. at this point we were tripping a little too hard to be out in public, especially since it was so busy due to the festival. we decided we'd go the long way to avoid the crowd. i was a bit too incapacitated to ride my bike at first, but i got the hang of it quickly. then i started riding with no hands and saying stuff like "see? i'm not that fucked up. i can ride my bike with no hands. but would i want to see my boss right now? NO!"

the cemetery was beautiful and amazing as usual. my brother had never been there before and he was in awe. we rode around enjoying the scenery as well as the live music from the festival. i made a remark that "it was like the perfect amphitheater." the acoustics were so good, i could hear the band better than if i was at the actual festival. my brother is more of an "outdoorsman" than me, and he spotted a turkey. we watched her for awhile and actually ran into her again during our bike ride. the 2nd time we saw her, she was about to fight with a groundhog. it was the only time in my life i saw a groundhog NOT hauling ass back to its hole. i know my brother LOVED seeing the turkey, and that my dad will like hearing that part of the story.

at one point, i needed a drink of water bad, so we went to my school which is basically across the street from the cemetery, and hit up the drinking fountain/bathroom. by the time we made it back to the cemetery, i was thirsty again. damn those bong hits!
on the way there, my fiance was in a hurry, so i obnoxiously rode my bike as fast as i could. i have a nice road bike, she has a walmart special and my brother was riding my 9 year old mountain bike, so mine can out-perform theirs by a LOT. anyways, i rode my bike as FAST as i have ever rode it. my peripheral vision was going blurry, the mist in the air started to feel like sharp rain, i was worried i might slip on the wet asphalt, but it was so exhilarating and i let out a huge battle cry like the Na'vi from Avatar. that was one of the more memorable parts of the trip for me.

after getting water, we went to my favorite part of the cemetery, which i've showed pictures of before, but here it is again. (the pics were taken a few days before the trip)

i know we rode by this tree too:

then we walked up a huge hill (that's when we saw the turkey for the 2nd time) explored a little more, and decided we'd head back to get some dinner. i had eaten a total of two eggs, a piece of toast, two microdots, and half an orange all day. my brother had eaten the same, minus one dot, plus one piece of toast. it was probably at least 7:00 now, and we'd been tripping for 4-5 hours and were starting to come down. it definitely lasted til about 9 or 10 (7-8 hours after dosing) but wasn't that strong after this point. maybe these doses aren't that strong after all?

we grilled some chicken, ate it (t'was de-licious), and then headed in for the night.

i was all out of weed, and so was my normal dude. but it just so happened that two buddies of mine were looking to trip that night, and one of them traded me a couple juicy nugs for two microdots. they each ate one at about 10 PM and went off on their night. he said they were blown away and i was right that they only needed one.

    the end.

I find that really cool that you can trip with your brother, you guys sound really close. It seems as if you frequent the cemetary quite often during your trips. I imaging riding a bicycle on a good dose of LSD is a pretty amazing sensation and that Avatar 'battle cry' paints a good mental image in mind. Good report and pictures as always Porkstock!

It sounded like a positive experience. And just watching a family member being just as connected and mind blown into it as you. You appreciate the moments spent more. Great read. :)

I've never felt anything like that on come up... more than anything I was curious what you'd think about one or two of those. I seriously think now that L does me harder than the average person. Those hit me fairly hard, but not quick. Interesting...

I haven't a clue how you could eat. I've never thought about food before well into coming down. You eating, Writer's having sex... does not compute. Good times for you guys tho. :sunny:

Your description of riding your bike like a bat out of hell... you were either well past plateau or, again, I'm L-sensitive. There's no way I could have ridden my bicycle like that while peaking on my last trip. It's prob not the caliber of yours, its a 21 speed cruiser but can def move along.
The cemetery with music sounds like it would be other-worldly.. very cool. I too agree with the comment about tripping with your bro. All said, yes good read and happy to hear of your great time.

voyage, how long would you say your trip lasted?

on LSD i usually feel super connected to my surroundings, so that even though i'm VERY high, i can walk around the park with confidence, or ride my bike with no hands :)

and the orange eating was not easy. we split one orange. and it took us a good 20-30 minutes to eat it.

Ha, honestly, I don't remember :) Pretty serious time dialation and sometimes during a trip I avoid clocks deliberately. Long winded answer but...
First notices about 30-45 mins in. 1 1/2 hr in, def climbing up and up. I distinctly remember analyzing the level many times thinking "this is plateau", no this is, no this is higher, no this is... until about hour 4. Peaking about 2, then sloooowly sliding down to afterglow. I wasn't baseline until after I slept. I think I didnt go to sleep until some 12 hrs after dropping. Roughly.

I too feel hyper connected, there in lies my dis-ease with some environments. I can only walk around with confidence in an environment where no one else is, or I feel anonymous. But walking around is way diff than hauling ass on a bike. I need to ride a bike on a trip and report back. :)

Eating never enters into the equation for me until after peak, if then. Interesting differences we have... :)

yeah i usually don't eat til after the peak either, but i was REAL hungry /dry-mouthed and it's not like i was eating a whole meal...just a bit of a tasty orange. you should try some fresh fruit during your next peak. you'll enjoy it :)

i ride my bike nearly ever day, so it's second nature to me.

Awesome TR, would love to ride my bike with you through that park on some doses! Amazing scenery.

Eating is definitely not on the forefront while under the effects, but if your body is genuinely hungry, you'll be able to munch a few bites of something. Smoke pot on acid will really allow you get a decent snack into you. You have to be in the mood though, and kind of force yourself at first.

Nice report, sounds like a great time! I find it interesting you tripped in a cemetery. Definitely some beautiful scenery but probably not my first choice for a trip setting.

I've had mixed reactions to food while tripping. Some times I can barely take one bite, other times I've been ravenous. I do usually get hungry on the comedown but I attribute that to the fact that when I trip I'm usually hiking or walking all day, so it's more just my body's need for nutrients.

That wouldn't work as I don't smoke. But starving during a trip isn't likely :sunny:

nice report. reading these reports makes me want to take acid again but i don't think i could handle it. As for eating while tripping, I always thought food looked very disgusting and I would get into how odd the concept of eating was....especially meat. I tried to eat a candy bar once and it was oozing and melting; sort of looked alive. Also I don't see how sex is possible (like is Writers tr). I tend to over anylize everthing so it just wouldn't work. Mesculine, though, is another story. Sex is great on mesculine.

on my early LSD trips, i couldn't bring myself to eat anything. i specifically remember trying to eat peanuts once and it was SO foreign feeling. i can't really eat a meal or anything, but fresh fruit is delicious! sex is also amazing on LSD, but i haven't done that in awhile. and mescaline, i've only had one low dose of. looking forward to that one again.

I never really wanted to eat either. I would always feel hungry and therefore buy immense amounts of food, but would simply look at it after a few bites. Hahaha

From the beginning people have sought out places like you've found - magical places, what some would call hollow spaces, places that for most people are fundamentally different than ordinary, everyday places.

Beautiful report Pork. Glad you had an amazing time. The outside scenery is stunning around where you live. I can imagine the treat that would be on my eyes. I love the outdoors on LSD. Everything is so alive defined.

My favorite treats on LSD are citrus fruits and especially juicy, soft, fleshy fruits like kiwi, mangos, melon, passionfruit, ect. Its awesome.

    Awesome report pork! :)

I really enjoyed the pictures, we have a lot of area's a few miles outside my neighborhood.. it's beautiful! Like some of the pics you posted on this page ^.. I feel like I have been there before ! haha ..mostly cause the area i chill at looks very similar. I always have a good time walking amongst trees and nature.

But jeeeez, all this talk about riding bikes while tripping..I definitely need to try it! I'm not even sure why i haven't yet.. but the next time i trip, i will make sure to ride my bike and go on an adventure.

    Good vibes to you!:sunny:
