how "fried" do you feel for 1.5 hits? do you get jaw tension from smiling too much and/or that certain "tightness" in your back?

i like a good solo trip, but tripping with my lover (on 2cb) was certainly something else. the times we tripped on L back in the day were extraordinary.

tripping with my brother has been excellent as well. we are very much alike, almost look like twins, and have always been very close. and i think you might have predicted when i was asking about dosing him - he might be the acid messiah or something like that. i dunno about that, but he has some unique insight. can't wait to go Crusin' Alaska with my fam! (9 days)

also i wanted to ask, how long does a "normal" (HA) acid trip last for you? i mean the primary effects. i used to say 10-12 hours, but lately it's more like 7-8 and then just kinda after effects. not tripping anymore..starting to feel a bit burnt out. i suppose it just depends on how you see it. before, i was probably just talking about how long i'm "not sober" and that would be 12 hours easy. but now that i'm a bit more of a connoisseur, the actual psychedelic effects may only last 7 hours.
how long did your 15 hits last? and do you think those hits were as potent as the shivas?

i guess when i did 4 hits of WoW, i had virtually no negative effects. that was a nice and strong trip, maybe that shit was better than i give it credit for...and i'm nervous of all these new prints and designs when i shouldn't be. also i wonder how much of my jaw tension and back ache could be from "dirty" L....

    sorry for the massive tangents.

i posted a TR from last saturday.

I don't get much jaw tension from acid, and the back tightness only comes sometimes, and I find it is the next day after the trip or even more delayed. This trip had pretty minimal muscle tension and no sore back at all afterwards, maybe just a bit stiff the next day. During the experience of course one feels "fried" but once I came down I felt pretty normal and fine. To be honest even 15 hits didn't make me feel that "fried", a liquid metaphor would be much more apt. So clean!

Funny, I find the same thing happening with me, I'm noticing the effects much more finely and so I'm able to see that the meat of the experience is definitely closer to 6 hours than 12 hours . . . after 6 or so hours the psychedelic effects start leaving and the side effects linger around for a few more hours after that. 15 hits primary effects was like 7 hours. I think they were close to shiva, but even if it was half the strength, that's 7.5 shivas :dizzy2:

See I feel the same way, I feel the 15 hits had "virtually no negative effect". That's what blew me away, and what really showed me how extreme the clarity and cleanness of the molecule is. I think that side effects are highly variable. You've never done aMT, but that one is practically russian roulette. One day you'll take dose X and have no side effects and a very deep euphoric trip, next week you'll take same dose and throw up, have huge headache, stomach hates you, and trip is more confusing . . . all other variables the same. I would imagine it's the same for something as complex as LSD, and those cases where you got more bodily complaints was really just luck of the draw rather than "dirty" acid.

i'll have to take this batch a few more times before i decide it's "dirty"

i'm thinking maybe in icy straight point, alaska? there you can "Immerse yourself in secluded beaches, old-growth forests and Alaskan adventure" and/or in victoria, british columbia, 8 days later - "afternoon tea, double-decker buses, the famed Butchart Gardens - a brilliant tapestry of color spread across 50 blooming acres."

Mr. Writer, I'm so very... envious of you. My ex (friends with benefits thing, kind of falling for each other again) is too apprehensive to even try cannabis now, let alone a legitimate, mind-opening hallucinogen.

I hope very much I can trip with my lover one day :/

Honestly Writer, you're a poet! Your posts have always been well embraced by me and many, but this was just incredible! I grasped onto every word with interest! Sounds like one of the most beautiful trips possible on a psychedelic. Everything about it, though not directly in nature, sounded so natural, and real. By which I mean the feelings, as you described were amplified. The passion, the love, it had its own nature to it that you two embraced.

It's great to hear your gf enjoyed the experience! No matter how strong your connection was before to each other, it's gotta be rock solid now haha ;)

Always great to hear from you writer. I really loved this

PS: I'd try to up your rep, but seems I need to spread the love

Thanks for the kind words, yes it definitely is about the passion as much as the psychedelic :)

Forgot to include one important visual effect that happened, and that Volupta recreates every time we trip on LSD. In the shower, she stood facing forward normally, looking down, as the water fell onto the top of her head and fell down in rivers over her head and down to her feet. Well, with the presence of candles and glowsticks, the broken up drops of water separated by her hair and falling in front of her eyes looked like billions upon billions of diamonds, an endless cascade of precious gems raining down from just above her vision. It made her breathless and she stood there for many minutes lost in the "haze of jewels" as Watts described it. It's a very beautiful visual suggestion and very calm and meditative as well, with the auditory rush of water all around and the tactile feeling of warm water running over you.
