Just before I woke up this morning I was having this dream, and there were lots of weird things in it that I can't really remember. But I did remember the end of it- I was back in my old physics department in Glasgow, and James Doohan - the late actor who played Scotty in Star Trek - was visiting. He asked me to built this experiment for him and then I was busy constructing this kind of electronic hardware set up that involved really old skool components with thick cables and bits you had to screw on with a spanner. no idea what the fuck it was, but it seemed to make sense in the dream.
Inspirational. some times we loose track of why we give a F$@# then we have a dream that gets us feeling like we could do anything. did the dream help tweak your passions? get you googling random stuff? get you to consider your career or hobbies? I made a quick quiz that might help you work out the dream, if it works let me know http://www.gotoquiz.com/dream_interpretation
Obviously it stemmed from feelings of regret that I have for not sticking in and getting a better degree in physics than I did (and pure maths) and going further with that. Also probably triggered by the fact I found an old VHS of the Star Trek Next Gen episode with Scotty in it (Relics) that I got personally signed by james Doohan in 1994, when I was in my final year at Glasgow Uni.
