This was actually one of my more "normal" dreams. I can usually interpret others' dreams, but I can never seem to interpret my own. I tried looking up the meaning in other sites, but none of the were quite accurate. I was the bride at a wedding, in a small church I work for. I was in the side room, because I was dangerously close to being late and I had to quickly put on some makeup by myself, when brides normally have at least one person helping them. I rushed into the sanctuary, and for some reason the vows were being said with us standing up in the middle of the pews, and everyone else was standing as well (as little audience as there was, anyway). The groom wasn't someone I recognized in real life. I can't remember his face, but he was a young man, very pale, with very light blonde hair, in an all-white suit. Even though I don't know him, in my dream, it felt like I knew him very well. I felt very...natural around him, if that makes any sense at all. If someone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
oddly enough the dream is about career choices, most symbols you try to look up are going to be swayed by the church theme BUT as this is nor normal surroundings when your awake we need to remove that layer of the dream and look at some of the secondary symbols. this makes it very hard to interpret and you can't be blamed for finding it hard. In this dream the Church is a "thought" and the side room would then be a "side thought" the man you are meeting in the middle is a career choice you have been considering in the back of your mind. we know this because you don't know him (he's not real world) but you feel comfortable with him (he is an idea you are happy with) we can look further into it; how old was this man? a new idea often enters as a baby. this man has many baby qualities you kinda hint at. so we know at one point in time he was a new idea, we can wind the clock of time back like this : if he's approx 18 then think about your life 17ish years ago.. see how that works? reflect on that time of your life and you can use this dream to help you move forward in your awake life.
I'm so sorry I didn't reply until now!! Aww, that makes a lot of sense! Thank you! Yes, but groom looked around my age (20), maybe a year older. And yes, he did kind of have a "baby" quality to him, he seemed very happy and innocent.
