So I need to go somewhere which is a really long way away. A girl needs to go there too and keeps asking me if she can come with me because if we arrive there at the same time she can live with me and leave all her luggage there when she goes to work. While I don't like being used I don't mind being abused but is this girl really keen on spending the best part of 18 months with me just because it's convenient for her??

How long have you know this girl for? Do you know her well?

No we don't know each other well and she's chinese and she's a fried of a friend of a friend .... if you get my drift. She phones me all the time to see if I'm coming her way.

Hmm... And has she been living in...*looks at your country*...Australia for a long time? Or is she fairly new? The reason why I'm saying this is because she just might be a bit nervous going to this far away place all by herself. It might be that she'd feel somewhat better going there with someone she knew at least a little bit.

Oh she travels with people no problems! She traveled with someone recently. I think she just thinks I'm "convenient."

Oh, ok. Well, are you interested in getting intimate with this girl? If so, then I suppose you may want to start handling this matter also with that in mind. If you're not interested, then it's easy. You just make everything loud and clear with her, and if she still wants to accompany you, then I guess that's what she'll do. But either way you'd both get to travel to the place you need to be at.

Yeah I don't really want to go there the way she wants to go but if she wants to be "more than friends" then I don't mind but that's not what we're agreeing on ......

*two cents*....I can see both parties appreciating a travel companion to a far off place however, the idea of agreeing to share living space is where I'd be leery. Shit, I only share my space when I lack other options and I certainly don't enjoy 100% of it when I do; let alone if it were with a friend of a friend of a friend!

yup, I agree with Xlear...having a traveling companion could be nice. Plus, you won't be totally alone when you get to where you're going

That's the problem if I knew I was going to be invited to fine dine on her I'd just shut up and go and get her!! She's fine traveling with others so it's not like she needs me .... but she wants me :D
