    Hey everyone!
This has been on my mind for a while. The days after my second (very heavy) breakthrough on DMT, I felt like every song I listened to related to my DMT trip. After those days it kind of resides and made me think more clearly, I think it was still the mindfuck of the breakthrough that was talking.

However, after about 2-3 months I was listening to the lyrics of this song and it heavily reminded me of a DMT experience. That was today. I don't know if it's just a rush but whenever I listen to a song and deepend myself in the lyrics, my mind starts to work like crazy and I see meaning in each line. In this thread I would like to share this song / experience. It's a song called Circuit Breaker by Röyksopp.

To start with, this version lacks about 10 seconds from the start, where you hear a quick version of the total song, and rewinds to the beginning where it starts on this youtube link. I think that this reflects the speed of a DMT breakthrough. Then it rewinds, meaning he starts from the beginning and explains everything, and that takes alot longer than 2 seconds (in relation).
    Lyrics:
    Circuit Breaker

    What is that vitalizing sound
    Calling me
    In my head
    Repeatedly
    What is that visionary sight
    Before my eyes
    So prominent
    So mesmerizing turbulent

The start of a DMT breakthrough. Usually in a breakthrough a sentence or a sound keeps repeating itself in your head. I don't think I have to explain a prominent visionary sight during a breakthrough :)

You've got a hold on me
    Your ingenuity
Seems to be driving me down on my knees
    The force you generate
    You reinvigorate
    Your body talks and overstates

The DMT has you in his grasp. It breaks your ego down and forces you to deal with your problems. It literraly drives you on your knees.

    Well I'm already drawn
    Close to the devine
Intoxicating images are rushing through my mind
    Embodiment of sin
    Has kindled me within
    Sensations seems to multiply
    They're building up inside

You feel you are standing next to (for the lack of a better word) God. That immense feeling of being next to everything that ever is and ever will be. This using incredible images that words cannot even begin to describe. To have to deal with your problems also gets repeated in this paragraph: the embodiment of sin. All sorts of feelings are rushing through you and seem to get stronger and stronger without any indication of slowing.

    Cutting through the night
    Radiating light
I've seen you move the crowd
    I know what you're about
    The stories I have heard
    The talk about excess
    I know what people say
    But surely you impress

Even in the darkest moments of your life, in particular death(I like to believe that DMT correlates strongly to near death experiences), it will be there for you. It welcomes you with love unknown to man.
He heard the stories of the incredible experience. The stories containing ''words cannot describe'' and ''amazing...just...amazing'' and the like. People cannot describe the experience except for expressions of amazement. But when you finally breakthrough yourself, it still impresses you like you could have never imagined.

    Charismatic pill
    You elevated sun
    Vanity and pride
    Added into one
    A universal force
    An autonomic high
    A thing I can't control
    No matter how I try

What have you done to me
    This candid chemistry
    Emotions running over me
And when you arch your back
Just with a stare like that
    Well it's natural to interact

This paragraph describes the thoughts running through your head of ''what's happening to me? Am I dead?'' You start to get frightened a bit since you do not feel ready for this. You do get curious and start to give in to the entities talking to you.

    Well I'm not holding back
    Ready to commence
    Caught up in your blizzard
    So confusing and intense
    Synergy of two
    Energy gone wild
    See the stars align
To spell your name out in the sky

Don't hold back. Let go. When you finally do let go you are confronted with an AMAZING feeling of love and light and purity. And even this is a huge understatement. That is a common part of a DMT breakthrough, a lot of people will recognize it.

    Never seen this sight
    So fascinated by it
    A symmetry between
    Dirty and pristine
    Calling out so loud
    Beautiful and true
    Mystery about
    Everything you do

I can relate very heavily to this paragraph, although it is very hard to explain for me. If anyone else can, please do share! :)

    Charismatic drug
    You elevated sun
    Vanity and pride
    Added into one
    A universal force
    An autonomic high
    A thing I can't control
    No matter how I try

    This electricity
    Injected into me
    Emotions running over me
    And when you're getting close
    You touch my innermost
A feeling deep inside me knows

Same goes for this one :)

    Wonders of delight
    Cutting through the night
    Known you got it all
    I can't do without
    Burning in my veins
    Ripping through my soul
    I'll never be the same
    A secret can't be told

    Charismatic pill
    You elevated sun
    Vanity and pride
    Added into one
    A universal force
    An autonomic high
    A thing I can't control
    No matter how I try

Finally I would like to share my interpretation of the title Circuit Breaker. A breakthrough experience breaks the circle of everyday life. Get up, breakfast, go to work, get home, eat and go to bed. The usual. A breakthrough rips this cycle apart and gives you a new perception on life. That it is your life. That in the end nothing matters.

I left a few paragraphs blank, because I found it too hard to use (English) words as a describtion for my amazing experiences. I hope some of you might give their interpretations.

    Thanks! :)

    Nice interpretation.

I hate going to those sites where people try and interpretative songs because most people are just completely stupid. Tool songs are the worst. Especially the ones that HAVE NO INNER MEANING. The song is about wtf they are talking about clear and simple. Tool's music is to be used to help you get through stuff or relate and feel good hence the name of the band. Maynard find's it amusing, people reading way too far into their music and completely missing the point.
