A new look at a once bleak life

Hello!
im new to these forums, obviously, and to be honest, i don't like to sign up for many forums. recently, however, i have been experimenting with psychedelic drugs, and have discovered so much about life that i HAD to start talking to other people about it.
its hard to find a good place to start, since i have so much about these wonderful and life changing drugs that i would like to talk about.
for one, I'm a psychology major at a state university.
ive always been interested in psychology, and in a large part becuase i have ALWAYS been VERY interested in my own brain, my own thought processes, and how i can train my brain to accomplish things i want out of life.
i used to be very depressed, and found little meaning in life. i had a sort of extremely scientific and atheist view on life that left me feeling lacking and disconnected from the world.
through therapy and time spent of self improvement ( countless hours meditating and reading on how to improve self confidence, reduce anxiety, etc) ive come a long way from my emotionally damaged state in the past.
recently, however, i stumbled upon psychedelics.
to be honest, i had used them a couple times a few years back, but didn't realize how valuable they could be.
recently, i had a much bigger trip than ever before, and i saw visuals that changed the way i viewed the world. it was so profound. if you have ever tripped you would know. it was about 3x a lightish dose of LSD, seemingly very pure.
i was so stunned by this refreshment of my self and this new feeling of spirituality, that it was like finding the key to everything i ever wanted. a taste of enlightenment, and a few keys of how i may reach that point eventually.
as a psych major, i want to see this drug researched. with ZERO discernible psychical effects and profoundly beneficial results to my life and general happiness, i believe that i want to put my life towards researching and educating people on how these sorts of things could change the world
ENTIRELY.

In my excitement and enthusiasm at getting turned on, it took some time to realise/appreciate that the only person who needed educating and changing was oneself.
As a dear friend who recently departed said....

"There is nothing wrong with the world, we are just having a strange conversation....."
