can i get a decent electro acoustic guitar for £150? bfs birthday soon and he really wants one to do gigs with, the most i could stretch to is maybe £200 if need be. i don't have a clue what to look for
I think the price range is quite extensive... obviously second-hand would be cheaper, but top-of-the- range models would be way outside your budget, I suspect. Best thing is to google "electro acoustic guitar" or some similar phrase and see what that throws up. Dealer sites will give you some idea about prices, if nothing else. .
I'm not an expert, but as far as I know Yamaha make good budget guitars. You could also look at Takamine and Tanglewood, though I think they tend to be mostly more expensive.
