Name all the OTC's you can think of! :D

none that need prescriptions, i'm in need of some good, cheap, drugs that i can get... something that would be sold at a corner store, grocery store, 711, ect.. I already know abut DXM, and codeine (even though you do need a prescription for codeine..) haha list 'em all, thanks!

    BTW, i live in Canada.

DXM is the only OTC med with substantial recreational value.

Some countries that are not as paranoid as the US have codeine OTC meds, that have tiny amounts that you can CWE. But that's not EVEN a good time.

And as you would expect, DXM seems to dull people and mess with their minds more than a lot of illegal drugs, and causes many problems that never even need to be taken into consideration with lots of illegal drugs.

    Just go do REAL drugs.

hyoscine hydrobromide (scopolamine) from buscopan. its otc, the pills can be powdered and administered sublingually (or smoked) for a catecholinergic effect. (in minute doses; resaearch first) it is a tropane alkaloid also present in jimsons weed etc.. personally i'd never bother.. heard its somehow hallucinogenic/sedative but i doubt the hallucinogen part.

I think scopolamine is one of the main chemicals responsible for datura's deleriant effects.

What the hell do you get it OTC for, and how doesn't it kill you? I know atropine is used to counter nerve agent exposure, eye drops, and other stuff. But I've never heard of scopolamine being self administered for anything other than recreational or "spiritual"(as spiritual as poison can get) datura use.

But yeah, it should cause hallucinations, they're just dangerous delerium style ones, the kind that makes you talk to various people and things that may or may not be present, and are probably not present in the form that you see them.

on further investigation from your comment, roor, my previous information has been found to be comprimised..
though i'm sure its still active (to some reasonable degree contrary to wiki) in this butyl form in *the routes* i mentioned, (maybe due to breaking down of the butyl part?) to get actual scopolamine one would have to basify to remove the butyl-bromide grouping and titrate the base to the hydrochloride or acetate.
not a hard task by any means were one so inclined..

    my apologies

    here is the link

Ahh, alright, that makes sense. (Looks like they're both used for it, or CAN be, anyway)

It's crazy, all the things you can do by messing with acetylcholine. Solonacae makes way more medicines than you'd expect of it, given how nasty the raw plants can be on (living) things.

Although given that the stuff messes with EVERYTHING your body does, I don't think i'd take it for any one symptom.... other than something where it would save my life...

    The more ya know :D

scopolamine is often used with end of life patients.. makes me wonder if it aid the in comfort to the next life. My dad would talk about a doorway that wasnt there..
one the wildest things he said was "get that picture out of here it has formaldehyde on it" ... never did move the picture but it was a wierd chemical to mention out the blue.
