what are your favorites? i'm a HUGE fan of disaster movies, whether they be blockbusters or B-movies... it's just something about seeing massive amounts of people dying and knowing it's not even true that fascinates me. sitting right there in the front row like it's actually going on, then 2 hours later coming back into reality. it's like a trip. here's a list... titanic (of course, see thread...) deep impact armaggedon escape from LA escape from new york day after tomorrow earthquake (70s film) the day after (nuke bomb film) independence day
Hmm my favorites would be Armageddon, The Day After Tomorrow, and The Day After (one of only 2 movies to scare the shit out of me). I can't think of any others....
eh, i think war movies are a totally different type of disaster... wars are more in touch with real life... disaster movies are like, "this could happen, but it's not likely at all"...
i loved cast away... it was one of those disaster movies that made me think, cause it was more of a personal disaster than one that affected everyone, ya know?
day after tomorrow Miami, its old but always very relistic about a nuclear aftermath, no frills no shit, very much what it may be like. HEY YO!!!!!
