I am with orison....my original thought before seeing the full post..was maximum overdrive lol....just the other day ..i lifted the lawnmower up onto my truck..briefly thinking twice when i put my hand under..near blade to lift...ya just never know...freak accidents happen all the time...lol She is very lucky to still have her hand..and not experience that kind of trauma..

 

your wife is one hell of a lucky motherfucking bitch that, all she got from that stunt was a couple of stiches.

it would have been all to easy for her to have lost her whole hand or, even, bled to death!

 

we think the fake nail helped a bit. cuz as her hand is going towards the blade, she probably felt it a nanosecond sooner, preventing further damage. when i was in highschool, I knew this dude who lost his middle and ring fingers to the first knuckle. so yeah, she is very lucky.

and lodog, no, not really, unless you count the fact that I drank it the night before, and didnt wake up early enough to mow the lawn myself before work, so she was all like, "I wanna do it!". So I was like, "okay". i was at work 20 minutes and she called me. I thought she couldnt figure out the throttle (missing cable) or something like that. Nope. I had to take her to the hospital.

 

i hope she doesnt have a laptop with touchpad thingy because they suck at reading fingers with cuts on them

 

nah, our laptop is a pretty much stationary component of our home entertainment system. she uses her android phone with her middle finger. its kinda silly lookin

 

Thankfully she was not more injured from that. I have a friend who lost the top of two fingers that way. There was a build up in the shoot and even though the lawn mower was shut off, when they cleared the clog the blade kicked and sheared off two finger tops.

Hope it heals well.
