Nudists...is this a problem?

I know many porn sites have a voyeur section where people take pictures of girls in their bikinis, topless, or in the nude at beaches and post them...often without the girls consent or even their knowledge. Does this happen a lot. I have never been to nude beach though or anything of that nature so i really don't know, but wouldn't want to have that happen to anyone I know.

 

If you're in public, there's not much you can do about it.

You have no reasonable expectation of privacy in a public area. Even a nudist beach.

People who are nudists are seldom concerned about their decision to be so. They enjoy it. They invite you to enjoy their nakedness.

yeah it happens but you know what, sometimes it's girls taking pictures of guys, and sometime guys snapping other guys.

have to say, I've no idea if they end up on porn sites or if it's for the individuals' personal gratification.

 

i dont think it happens too much but it does happen.

i guess for some people the risk of it happening bothers them so much that they wont go to a nude beach at all, but for others (like me) they figure that if it does happen, its not really going to affect you as your never gonna know what happens to the photos, so why let it stop you enjoying yourself.

on some beaches, taking photos, especially of women and kids, will result in people coming over and asking you to stop taking photos or leave (i know you have every right to take photos but most pervs are so embarassed at being confronted that they will take off). some beaches even have committees of beach goers who make regular patrols to make sure everyone is safe and try to keep the voyeirs away. and theres even a few instances where police will help keep a beach safe from perverts (altho these arent very common!).

 

I was in Holy Nature videos a number of times, so I guess I'm used to being naked on the camera.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'm in public, and if someone's inclined to beat off looking at me, they'll do it in the bushes or they'll do it in their house in front of the computer. Since it doesn't harm me in any way... more power to them really... why would I deny someone I don't know sexual gratification? They might need it more than I do, tee hee

It was fun as long as it wasn't too staged. I had a blast being filmed just hanging out, but then things got a bit too commercialized. Do this, do that, go there, stand over here, pay attention to the camera, blah-blah-blah.

While it is understandably fun to order a flock of cute naked girls around, Alexandra is very bad at following directions when she just wants to bounce around Question authority and all that.

I'm not in touch with anyone at HN anymore, though I have to say I miss the two Ulianas and Paulina...

 

it sounds cool. ive never been filmed or photographed for a nudist film or magazine (that i know of) but i'd be quite happy to do it providing it wasnt too staged (like you say Alexandra) and provided it didnt end up being exploited.

ive come close a couple of times. i had a few emails with the people who made the Diary of a Teenage Nudist film for uk channel 4 about being in that but i pulled out cuz at the time (i was 17) i didnt feel ready.

i was also gonna do an interview and (nude but covered) photoshoot for Sugar magazine (uk teen girl magazine) but they pulled the feature and cancelled it all.

it was for a feature where they were going to have lots of different teenage girls with different attitudes to body image. they wanted a nudist because they wanted someone to be involved who was completely comfortable and happy with their body and being naked, to contrast with some of the others who would be unhappy or insecure for various reasons.

i don't know why they pulled the feature. i think some of the other girls had pulled out or theyd had trouble getting enough people to take part but maybe it was just an editorial thing. they told me they were just putting it back for a future issue but then never contacted me again so im guessing they never did it.

yes, you're right Jason. i threw away the opportunity to appear in something really, really special there! what a fool i was!

i guess i was too busy living my life and having fun to realise at the time that i could have had this great opportunity to get my tits out on Channel 4...



also, while i had a couple of emails with the producer, its not like i was an integral part of the production. it was at a time when they were looking to speak to as many young nudists as possible about their experiences and i was just one of those. i know there were quite a few who went further than me and ended up being interviewed and filmed but still ended up on the cutting room floor. so i may not have ever ended up in the film even if i had followed it through.

fwiw, Diary... is a good enough film but i dont regret not being a part of it - there's loads about it i don't like and i think it has a mixed and ultimately confusing message.

also the narrative it sets up is false - the film was edited in order to make it seem like the presenter Bianca was making the journey from "textile" to nudist when in fact she was apparently pretty liberal about nudity already.

also, as apparently Bianca ended up with a stalker as a result of appearing on the programme, im glad i didnt.

I have no wish to be photographed whilst on a nudist beach, in a sauna etc. I don't take a camera there either.

I choose to keep that part of my life to myself as it would offend some people I know, and if no-one knows then I can escape in peace from the other parts of my life which is a good thing in itself.

 

No, voyers and exibitionists are not true Nudists in my book, they may like to go naked but its for the wrong reasons.

 

Very well said, Alexandra! I've asked many of my non-nudist girlfriends to join me for an outing to the nude beach and they almost always don't want to go. The reason they most often give (other than it's "not their thing") is that they're afraid some guy is going to get a thrill out of seeing them. Just like you, I think it's great if some guy gets a sexual thrill out of seeing me naked - as long as it doesn't harm me. I try to point out this to my reluctant girlfriends and they often can't relate to my point of view.

Where in the uk is a good place to go nude, cant really find anywhere near here and other than myself i dont know anyone open to being nude (esp in puplic)
