what the hell does nodding out mean....like when you get so sleepy that your head starts to nod and you pass out? Do you really need to ask how to accomplish this? Just take enough and the drug will take care of it for you. this thread confuses me.
winken,, blinken,,, and nod,,, I tend to nod out a lot, since I'm retired, and I don't have any set hours. I just go until I begin nodding, and often it's when I'm sitting on the couch watching tv, or at the computer. When I'm at the computer, I often have to suddenly catch myself, or my head hits the monitor. It's not a flat screen, but one of those old CRT monitors, one that can stand my head hitting it. I'm just glad I've never ended up with broken glass all over, and my head stuck in the CRT with thousands of volts passing through my brain. I've also nodded off at a stop light before, waking up from the car behind me honking, or just because something inside said "WAKE THE FUCK UP, DUDE!". But that was back when I was working, and didn't get enough sleep. Oxycodone makes me really comfortable, but I have a limited supply, from having visited the ER with kidney stones, so I don't tend to take more than I need to get comfortable.
Something like that. to "nod" on opiates (or I suppose, in any other sedative sense) is basically to get as fucked up as you safely can, sort of half awake, half asleep, but not physically sedated to a dangerous level, just sort of mentally sedated, I suppose. You can still function(depending on your experiance) and for some reason when people are nodding... they just DON'T fall down, their head might be sideways, but their body is riding the subway Look it up online, you can find threads of peoples "nod faces" and whatnot.
I doubt that 35mg was enough to kill the rook. I bet he got sick as fuck though. Dude probably got bad advise from friends or something. Why he would not do some research before dropping that much is beyond me. Hopefully the guy is alright. Dumbass
Did this guy ever post anything else? Hell maybe he did od. Probably not though. He will probably go around talking about how much taking pain pills sucks and all that just because the dumbass took way too much for a first dose. Sometimes I just really don't get people. Make that always. Why the hell would you drop that much without any prior experience and then come on this forum and ask what it's about to do to you. What a douche bag.
i highly doubt 35 mgs of oxy would be enough to kill a first timer. i dont know where you guys are getting this shit. ive done an 80 when my tolerance was still low and i was fine.
Yea that's what I said 35mg is not enough to kill someone no matter how low the tolerance is. You may be able to take 80mg of oxy on one of your first times, but I am telling you that could and would kill a lot of people. I work in medicine, and have seen first timers od on as little as 60mg of oxy. I am not sure if he even stated how much he weighed but to a little guy 35mg for the first dose can make you sick enough to wish you were dead. 80mg for someone who is opiate naive is just stupid. It may have not made you sick but 9 out of 10 people would be either puking until they were dry heaving or at the e.r.
I LOVEa good NOD! but as you get more experienced with opiates it gets harder..this is why some people including mysel have a smile on my face even when puking as the mind says to me "well done you can STILL get there' this is of course TOTALLY FUCKIN STUPID and please dont take a big oxy dose first time round...what myself and others on this board can consume WILL KILL some of you lot.. at worst i was at 260mg DAILY of oxycodone ONTOP OF wearing a 50mcg fentanyl patch and i am VERY happy to have had the pain stabilize and controlled and now down to a daily dose of 130/140mg and NO fentanyl.. nodding out is fun as long as you know what you and your body are capable of.finding outs half the fun but BE FUCKING CAREFUL!..
Nodding out is just an expression used by opiate users whereby you feel very tired and your eyes start to close and your head nods off one of the best effects of opiates in my opinion. Be careful my friend if you haven't started using opiates do you really want to risk being another statistic for the high rates of addiction opiates carry.
Never nodded out, never really gotten all that high from oxy's either. I've only done it a handful of times, but I can take 20-30mg and be pretty sober. I think it depends on the person.
Let me try to explain the nodding out thing: Occasionally, in high doses of opioids, if a user is in a very relaxed physical position, like reclining on a couch (or sitting on a park-bench!), and if the user closes their eyes (even for a little duration), they begin to enter this sort of transitional zone of consciousness. It is not like passing out drunk on alcohol or downers. It is also distinct (however more similar to this than the passing out drunk) from ego-loss on psychedelics. Common traits of this state include heightened euphoria, physical jolts (jerks of the legs or neck occasionally), and very odd alteration in the sense of time-passing. One recent time, I entered the nod zone and was closely listening to a song called "Firth of Fifth" by Genesis. I recall hearing every note of the song (it is a tune Listen to all of the time), and when it was over, I assumed 9 minutes had passed (it's duration). However, upon checking the clock, over 2 hours had passed. NOW, I had NO perception of losing awareness. I also did not recall hearing the (say) 15 other songs on the playlist! Other effects of the state include feelings common to near-death experiences, including visual alterations (bright lights), dissociation (feeling like you are looking at yourself from another place in the room), and extreme transcendence. It is as close to a religious experience as I have ever had (including moderately strong experiences on 2C-I, a moderately strong psychedelic), though I am atheist. I believe the "nod" needs to be researched more often. It is NOT anything like a dirty feeling of passing out drunk. It feels like a holy and treasured experience. From the outside, it just looks like a person closing their eyes and falling into a relaxed physical position. Nothing else. However, what is going on in the brain is an array of fascinating psychological states! I hope this explains it a bit more...
Wwowww best feeling ever. Felt myself coming on to a nod. Chi lin on my porch stars out view of Boston. Headphones bumpin finished a joint popped 30 mg oxycodone earlier was a,a zing
