amberisabeller, On Behalf Of My Fellow Dreadlock Forum Members, I Would Like To

Offer You A Most Humble And Sincere Apology For The Above Post...:(.

The Only Explanation I Can Offer, Is That "ChildInTime" Hails From New Zealand, And As

We All Know, In The Evolution Process, They Are A Few Decades

    Behind The Rest Of Us...[IMG].

    Cheers Glen.

Good thing you started to negelct your hair, you look so sad in the picture with straight hair, hahaha.

    Haha, so true. :p

Cheers for the advice, everyone. :) I decided to go ahead and henna, and it worked pretty well. Seemed to rinse out fine, although I'm a bit itchy today. I think I'll do a deep cleanse to get the last of the henna dust out.

@Out of Step - everyone always looks miserable in before pictures. It makes the smiley after pictures look so much prettier in comparison. :D

Yeah, I suppose so. Although, my sig pic is my only 'before' picture (no face), and I generally have a naturally neutral facial expression... so no smiles to compare to!

Quick update just to show a recent picture of the back of my hair.

I do love my dreadies, but recently I've been craving the nice silky feeling of normal hair again. I'm really tempted to comb, but I'm worried that I'll seriously regret it. I may experiment this weekend by combing out a little one to see what state my hair is in.

Why the HELL would you want strait hair, with those? How do you NOT feel accomplished and proud?.....

    But that's just me.

I'm not going to brush, at least, not for a while. I know I'd really regret it. I'm just going through a phase of wanting silky straight hair. I need to go and play with someone else's hair to get it out of my system. :p
