... practically everyone who is currently on the planet (with the exception of some babies and young children) will be dead, and then there will be a whole new set of people fucking the planet up. They will probably hate us for using all the oil up and generally not leaving much left of the world for them to fuck up IF the human race survives that long.

That's really not a lot of money. It's not to late to ensure our great grandchildren don't have anything to complain about.

 

Oil won't be relevant after we use it up. Future generations won't blame us for using up all the oil because humans are quite adaptable and will find other resources to exploit.
