Prove you're great by controlling the weather, saving lives and money

What about things like the Russian heatwave of 2010 that killed 11,000 (http://www.terradaily.com/reports/Russian_heatwave_caused_11000_deaths_in_Moscow_official_999.html)? Then, you have the tornadoes that destroyed the southern US. Earthquakes. Whoever of us that claims to be so great, could prove it by stopping heatwaves, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, etc. How much money has all of these "natural disasters" costed America. Quite sad.

 

Yeah, who do we bomb in retribution for those instances. Let's go incarcerate a tornado.

The way it is set up now, everyone is born suspect, even to the point of looking for defect in the womb. Whatever liberty we do enjoy, represents time off for good behavior.

 

This is quite wrong, the Bible says that God has stored up snow for the day of war:

God is in control of the weather, I believe, though I'm not a member of any of the Abrahamic religions. If there is a God, He could be the only One responsible for the weather lol. I think that the stories about man destroying the atmosphere are just myths designed by enemies of God. What about earthquakes?

God is wrecking this destruction and He must be credited with it, .

 

If I possess a level of power that enables me to manipulate weather and such then I really have no real need nor concern for money.

It should be pretty obvious by now that we're on our own. Luck 'a the draw basically. One could improve one's hand by not being in the path of Mama when she does what she does. They ask=="how do you think you survived this devastation"? "It was god's will". You don't hear anyone say "god did it" when their relatives are swept or blown away by some catastrophe. If there is an all powerful god--he/she's not paying much attention to the suffering here. When does it end? When WE make it end.
