ok my question is how many dime bags can u have on u b4 it is considered to be intent to distribute i will not carry more then an ounce of weed at any time & if im goin to be havin an 8th , quarter ounce , half oz or an ounce i will only have it in 1 bag but how many dime bags can u have on u before it is considered to be intent to distribute i heard if u have more then 3....is this correct ? i will also never carry more then 3 dime bags / nickel bags or dub sacks with me
It probably depends on the state, but in Georgia, if you have multiple baggies of small amounts of weed, whether it's 2-3 baggies or 10 baggies, then you can be charged with intent to distribute. It probably depends on the cop too.
Depending on the situation, 1 is enough. 2+ and they can definitely charge you with intent, if they want to. But either way all they want you to do is plead guilty to lesser charges, so you can be on probation. That is where they make the money.
In plenty of States, the fact that it's bagged seperately automatically makes it intent to distribute. Even if it is under an ounce.
out here you can have 28 grams and its just a 100 dollar ticket. anything over 28 grams is intent to sell and the fine goes up.
We're not talking about weight though. It's an automatic felony here to have 28g or more, but you can still get fukt just as hard if you only have 5g divided into multiple bags, because it appears that you intend to distribute it. If you have the same 5g in only one bag, then you'll get a lesser charge.
Doesn't matter if the bags have bud in them if they're the small little bags, if you're found with those they will definitely try and up it to intent to sell regardless of the amount you have.
Nah, I haven't been tested at all, yet. I don't know if they'll ever test me. I had $1000 in probation fines, which would've been paid off alread, but they also added $1400+ in FEES, which has nothing to do with me paying for my charges; just paying the probation people. So, in total, it was a little more than $2400. It's fukt up that the fees are more than the actual fine
Wow that is fucked, I hope my state doesn't do the same bullshit with probation fees. I'm already looking at a metric shit ton for a lawyer to try and get my felony charge dropped. Sorry to take away from the thread op.
