Sunset or Sunrise?

Sunsets are pretty cool because it seems you always see more colors before everything turns to dark.

Sunrises though you get to see just the opposite.

Personally I think it looks really cool when the sun pops up from the mountain and you can see the light slowly cover everything.

It can be hard to tell the difference in pictures.

Sunset. I have to work at sunrise about 3/5 of the week and I have to drive 15 miles to the bank and the sun just always happens to be in the worst possible spot so I can't see shit.

 

set if im in the city, rise if im somewhere rural.

interesting fact:

Set was the name of the Egyptian god of darkness. That fact would be more interesting if it had anything to do with our word 'sunset'......Unfortunately, it is just a coincidence.

 

Both are beautiful and though they represent different things, I could never decide between the two.

 

I prefer sunset actually, but sunrise is more special to me because it's so much more rare for me to catch.

I just think there is something so beautiful about the colors fading out into dusk.

I love both but if I were to pick on it would be sunsets.

 

Sunset for me...I just ain't a morning guy..

 

I think most people say sunset since they don't get up that early. Both are awesome to watch happen though.

yeah, it's gotta be sunset. if i see a sunrise, the experience is hindered either by the fact that i'm up early and on my way to work, or the fact that i've been up all night and my sleep schedule is ruined.
