well, according to the doctor the surgery was a success......BUT, lol my foot/ankle hasnt been right since.... I actually fell asleep standing up smoking at my kitchen sink when i fell i folded like a z, except my toes were under me and my head hit the ground, i dislocated like 3 toes, they were just so mangled, lol and i ended up tearing my tendon between my tibula and fibula, and i had a cortical evulsion on the back of my ankle, which is when a tendon pulls so hard that itself doesnt tear it actually pulls a chunk of bone off with it.....the surger i had was to seperate the tendon between my tibula and fibula so it could re-heal tighter than when it healed on its own. He said that if i didnt have the surgery as i got older and being a bigger guy, i would be prone to rolling and breaking my ankle over and over again so i had the surgery...The cortical evulsion was never fixed, so there is a bad tendon floating around with a chunk of bone on it, lol.......After months of post surgery care, i was diagnosed with RSD which is nerve damage to my foot, and the mri also showed arthritice in my left foot, not to mention i tweaked my back when i fell, lol......SOOOOO i was later diagnosed with sleep apnea for the sleeping isues i was having. That is basically my story, and i guess i got lucky with the doctor who is good with the Rx pad, lol!!!!!! Look forward to chatting with you in the future!!!

HOLY FUCKING SHIT P.C thats some mad shit! How'd you end up with TWO script monkeys? You originally saw two docs and cherry picked those bad boys? DAMN! Thats some good shit. Over here opiates are VERY HARD to get prescribed..I had two years of heading back and back and back to my GP with a chronic pain issue (now 5 operations in and still NO SIGN of healing) before I got Oxycodone which works SO well.. I was on Morphine prior to it and also tried Fentanyl...but it took two years before I was taken seriously...over here we miss out on a few good drugs like Dilaudid/Xanax and Opana...but it just seems (and trust me im not having a go when saying this) Doctors in America give out super potent opiate narcotics for a stubbed toe..Oxy even after all these years still works great. On the Xanax side of things a good friend from Americas staying next month and hes giving me SIXTY xanax for letting him stay!

what's up doc? I have personally gotten to where I hate xanax. It makes me smoke up all my weed and then I just want to go to sleep. I wake up feeling like I just got hit by a fucking train or something. I have found that vallum gives me the high I am looking for. I'll drop a few perks and drop that vallum on top of it, next thing you know I am high as eagle pussy. I too am a chronic pain patient. They replaced 3 of the discs in my spine. I would have never even fucked off like that if I had known what I do today about the artificial discs. Although I was in serious pain then, it's not much better now. I have also been diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It's some kind of rare connective tissue disorder. I have had reconstructive surgery on both of my shoulders, because they both have popped out like a dozen times. My fingers get dislocated all the time and all types of other crazy shit. Arthritis from my jaw to my freakin toes man. I am only 22! At least they keep me good and fucked up though!

    Yo chop,

Is that them oxy 30's I see on your name???? Them lil bastards are great for crushing and tooting. Easiest pill out there to snort if you ask me. I just dropped one and snorted another half, in fact. I got a friend who gets those fentanyl patches too. I buy a couple and suck the gel out them bitches. Then I tear it into little pieces and chew on them. Oxy with fentanly is the shit! You got to be careful with chewing them things though. Always start out small, especially if you are naive to opiates. 80x stronger than morphine aint nothing to fuck around with.

yo 44! nice to meet you man.. It just so happens im in need of some advice..6th op is being discussed with my opiate nurse and surgeon soon..Fusion freaks me out a little and not much normally gets my jumping.

Fentanyl? Yeah I was on that, ive been on EVERYTHING in the UK..we dont get OPANA but, and its very rare, but we get DILAUDID here! I may well be trialling it..According to my Doc in the decade or so the clinics been running not one patient has used it. I still find after all these years Oxy to pack a fucking BANG! Its easily the most powerful (euphoria wise) medication Ive tried/been prescribed/etc etc..and Ive put EVERYTHING into my body over the last 14/15 years

party hard but safe kids! and its all love here from England

I can tell you man I have only had dilaudid twice and both times it was taken oral. To me that is some super powerful shit. I actually find fentanly a tad more euphoric than oxy but not by much. Plus its a lot harder to get fentanyl at least where I am from anyway. If they are offering up dilaudid I would take that shit in a heartbeat. They will probably start you on the 2mg pills. The thing I hate about oxy is that my tolerance is going through the fucking roof man. Just a few months ago as little as 20mg would fuck me up good now its taking a good 50mg to et me where I want to be. I have started to snort them to get the euphoria. I wont snort all that bitch ass tylenol though, I trade the perks for roxis. I have found that for me they are not addictive. When I run out I just feel like shit for a few days. I do not run out and spend up my paycheck or anything. I just have to deal with the runs and being an asshole to everyone for about 4 days, then I am good. Like I said though, if you can get dilaudid go for it partner, to me that stuff is way stronger than oxy. peace man and be safe

well i was seeing my primary doctor and he said that he would no longer prescribe me meds and suggested i see a pain management doctor so he referred me......after seeing him for a few months is when i had my fall at home, i told him that i was planning to see an orthopedic surgeon, he said that was fine just as long as i let them know i was in pain management. so no biggy, i wasnt that into opiates that bad, 2 or 3 5mg percs had me good for the weekend. So after my first visit or two with the Ortho AND informing him that i was receiving scripts from another dr.he dismissed it as a sprained ankle, I DISAGREED and we had a falling out, so i was referred to a different doctor in the same practice who was a foot specialist. After seeing him he determined that i had a torn syndesmosis tendeon (which is between the tibula and fibula, like i said)and that i needed surgery, i let my PM doctor know of this and said that he would let the surgeon manage my meds during and post surgery. I'd say about after 6 months it came down to my foot just wasnt right, and he stated that i was too far past the post surgery period to continue to manage my medications, he suggested i do another round of physical therapy and if i wanted to continue medication to see a pain management doc, so i agreed. I am only to guess that the first ortho didnt note that i was in pain management already or that was the normal practice after surgery......My plan was to keep whatever dr gave me the most meds, but then soon came to realize that if i was short i had a spare script from the other, or if i needed some cash, i had a few laying around to get rid of. I always made sure that i was never prescribed the same RX in the same mg as to not have problems with refills........then when PM doc A would ask what the ortho said, i would just tell him what PM doc B said, that i was diagnosed with RSD in my right foot/ankle and that i had arthritis in my left foot/ankle. But now i need to get an MRI of my back for PM doc A so that is where im at now. Pm doc A is more of a straight practice than PM doc B is, at B i just get stretched out real fast and scripts wrote....they dont do any referals or anything like that, just pay your co-pay and collect your RX and roll out......

i have been on Oxycontin, the originals, the Oxyconting OPs, perc 7.5s perc 10's, roxi 15s, Exalgo 12mgs, Opana 10s, Opana 20s, Fentanyl 125 mcg I believe. I have taken Methadone to hold off withdraws, and have tried Tramadol which helped in the beginning to hold me off till refill day, Then Vicoden and Ultram, lol so i have been around the pharmacy once or twice, lol
but by far my favorites are the Original Oxycontins, and the Opanas.....i like the Roxi 30s too, but im prescribed the 15s, 9 of them a day, i could get 30s but the doc said onna bad day where i may take an extra, its only a extra 15 and not a 30.....which i understand. Id rather have quanity of the 15s rather that the "quality" of the 30s. They are easier to manage that i wan in my specific case......enough babbling, im gonna catcha nod here inna few anyway, lol!!!!

im scripted about 200mg a day PC..sometimes run out early which SUCKS! but Ive recently found a hook up for subutex which is like a godsend for pain patients if you run out early. Do you ever run out early having all those little gems?

Holy shit man. Not to make it sound like you guys do not have pain, but FROM WHAT YOU HAVE TOLD ME, I have way more wrong with me and I cant get half that shit. Any suggestions? Is it just because of my age (22) or what?

me? I assure you mate I am in CHRONIC PAIN! i dont know if this was aimed at me or not..theres no beef here just to let you know..ive had five spinal operations and 2 herniated discs..the pain is INSANE without pain control. Ive had numerous MRI's and my back looks like a bomb has gone off in my lumbar region..ive been forced to quit work after 13 years of working as i can barely stand up most days..

if this was aimed at PORKCHOP I dont know him/her and cant say..what I do know is that everyones subjectively different re:pain and pain response is 100% individual.. I will say though if you dont need to take this type of drug for pain dont take it! Ive been 6/7 years on this now and im very lucky it still holds my pain down to about a 3 or a 4 after ten minutes of taking Oxycodone.

Im in the UK and they HATE giving out narcotics for pain..I never asked for this drug I was offered it after my 5th failed operation and high dose morphine did NOTHING for the pain.

age may have something to do with it, are you working? i know my doc frowns upon medication increases ecspecialy if you arent working, but if you are working he understands that if you are doing your best, he will help you get through the day.... also there is no specific location to warrent chronic pain, it is defined as pain lasting more that 2-3 months, like i said in another post, with every move of my foot, (think about how much you use your feet) there is pain, walking the dog, mowing, traffic, football practice, running the kids around, by the time I get through work, its really hard to do anything extra, you just wanna rest, so it really does effect the quality of life, even though i havent been under the knife 10+ times, which i feel for anyone who has, it still blows, lol. And there is no beef here, i understand that things vary from person to person......and its not like i went from 5mg percs to 20mg opanas in a single visit....there was alot of trial and error, every month my meds were getting adjusted, or changed......another post says what all i have been on, and it would have prolly taken longer, because he suggested methadone and injections, which i declined to have until things get worse, because i know that its coming down the road, for sure!!!! so, my advice is just keep complaining that they arent working and slowly things will change!!!

cut a long story short..I have so much respect for anyone in a similar position..i have a wonderful g/f who is SO supporting..a previous g/f dumped me cos i was either in too much pain or too loaded to do anything..this was when 160mg would get me loaded..i remember one night we went for a meal she went to the toilet to come back to find me nodding out with my face in a plate of spaghetti!
I wasnt taken seriously by my doc until my MRI came back when he said "oh you do have a serious problem" great! like iw as lying for two years! its so hard getting good pain drugs in the uk..The worst phrase I heard and do hear sometime was one that the other people in the chronic pain seminar said too.. its when people say to you "oh but you look fine!" like if we look fine were not in pain!

That's why I put AS FAR AS YOU GUYS HAVE TOLD ME in all caps. I was going by what you have told me. I was not saying you were not in pain man. I was saying from what you have told me I seem to have more wrong with me. I was sayin that knowing the possiblilty that you have not stated all that you had been through. It's all good I really don't care who is in more pain I was just asking how the hell porkchop got all that he did. No biggie, I hope you and chop both get everything and anything you want/need
