Church of the Good Earth 1963 and Beyond

Mary, tried calling you early this am but no answer...you must have been out waking up the chickens!!! Just tried again but cell is back on "no service" I think it might have something to do with this tiny little towns reception...I know nothing about tech things...well maybe a little, but not much. I am now cleaning the house up and getting ready to be gone for a few days...talked to Ranger this morning and he is in good spirits....I will give him a big hug and we love you from everyone here....thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart!!!!! Will be in contact and let everyone know how things are after surgery tomorrow, if not before:sunnyeace out for now.

 

oh Chris, I am so sorry for your loss. I will try to call you as soon as I get to the hospital so you can talk to Ranger...I should have service there and if not, over to Walmart to have them fix it. I don't know if i have your phone #?

Rita try to stay postive my boss es father recently had the same thing done and he came through just fine its not time we still have a path to walk. go to walmart tommorow night am send what i can but please make sure your eating well your gonna need all your strenght and if you guys decide when ranger is sttronger you might want to take a rest at the beach you guys can have my bedroom i dont mind the couch really.its been so long ireall

update from Mary Jo, Kenny's girlfriend - he just left phoenix to get up to the hospital to be with Ranger. Rita, if you see this note, could you please call me or Ken, thanks! Sending prayers, positive thoughts and love to Rita and Ranger tonight and through the surgery!

 

It's like 2:30 in the morning and Ranger is finally morphined out and Rita and I are sitting around in the ICU waiting room drinking coffee and bebbeling at each other.

Yes once again he was not going to sign off on the surgery and wanted his close, when I walked in at 11:00. We talk for a while and he signed off on it.

She and I are waiting till 6 when they will roust him for final and prep. Surgery at 7 something.

That's the deal.

Just got off the phone with Kenny and Rita. They're fixen to go up and wake up The Ranger before the come to get him to prep for the surgery.

Kenny is a blessing to them both and to us as he stands strong. Rita is so thankfull he is there. When Ranger wakes, I know he too will be thankfull to Kenny for all he's done/doing for his Bud. THANK YOU KENNY!!

Rita said they will post when it's over. It's a 5 hour surgery, so it will be a while before there is any news.

He's been in for a while. It coming up on 11:00 am here. Surgical nurse says that he has been on by-pass. Might be out by noon or later.

Yeah, Jared the Post-Op Guru Male Nurse just can out and said that Ranger is now off of the by-pass machine and running on his own. It's 12:20 pm here.

Jared says it could be another hour.

He and I had a good talk. He says that Ranger is going to need a lot of encouragement after the surgery through the long drawn out healing and rehabilitation process. He says that he believes that Ranger does listen to me and that he will need the encouragement to have the will to get through all of the rehabilitation. You guys TOO. Long term encouragement and reason to live and to push through.

Cheryl, you are such a sweetheart!!!! Thank you so very much for you help and support. I hope we can met up someday.....The surgery went well the nurses said and they are now wrapping it up. Kenny and I are waiting in the post surgery waiting room for the doctor to come out to give us the scoop.....gotta go but wiil be back with updates...LOVE YOU ALL!!!!! Rita
