Hello everyone! I've been lurking on these forums for ages, and thought it was about time I posted. So I've gathered some pictures of my dready journey so far, decided to go neglect (been washing with loads of different things, baking soda, dr bronners, baby shampoo, but now just water), and it's coming up to nine months now. They've grown up so quick! Anyways, time to post a shitload of pictures. Before I threw away my hairbrush. About one month. Almost two months. Three months.
Lurking for 8 months is pretty impressive. So is your neglect progress. Now you'll just have to confirm that isn't a micro 4/3rds camera your holding.
Cheers, guys! Here are the last pictures, from the past month or so. These are when I had to model for a friend's textiles project, I don't usually hang around in graveyards looking moody.
Lurking around graveyards is fun, Enjoy, you should try it some time. Pypes, I have absolutely no clue what camera that is, as it's not mine. I don't even own a camera. Is a micro 4/3rds camera bad? I'm a total technophobe. About the colour, I have major roots as I haven't hennaed since I stopped brushing. Does anyone have any experience hennaing locks? I imagine it'd be a bitch to wash out, which is why I've been reluctant to try, but I do miss it.
i thought you hennaed, it's beautiful i hennaed my dreads last year, it was a nightmare! my dreads were like a yr old at the time so with henna on it was ultra heavy. then i rinsed for aaages but still found bits of henna in my hair. and i found it hard to get even coverage so had to do it a few times. but i thought it was worth it cos the colour was nice and it's so natural. i say go for it
Looking good. Just curious, Is there a website for the clothes you're modeling? They seem like a great gift for a friend.
Compliment of the year. OP, that's pretty cool, you started at quite a length, they look nice. If I where you I wouldn't worry about henna, at least not yet. I don't think locks ever dye very well, they look better with the natural sun bleaching that happens so quickly with them, because the hair on the outside is always on the outside. Take that with a grain of salt, because I've never dyed, straitened, or otherwise fucked with my hair, and I never will.
Thanks for all the lovely comments, everyone! Still undecided about the henna.. I bought a massive packet of it but I might just use it on my skin. Sorry, plasticfantasticlover, the dress is just a one off my friend made for her textiles project.
