washington july 1st - 7th

any news?

 

Yes it is getting closer and closer to that time. I hope to find a ride myself, in Indiana currently. Last year worked out so odd for me, I actually went from Indiana out west and south to Arkansas and got a ride from Arkansas to the nationals in Pennsylvania. It was simply astounding. Though I don't think I'll head east this year to make it to Washington, lol.

There is ALOT MORE to the east side of WA besides desert. Up in the North Central part of WA it is beautiful and rugged. The hills are covered in Lodgepole Pine and unlike western WA there is very little underbrush.

Just today I talked to someone from the Rainbow Family. There is indeed a Gathering set for July 1st thru the 7th 2011.:2thumbsup:

I can't go to the washington gathering this year because I have a job and I'm taking a summer calculus class. I will be there in spirit.:sunny: Does anybody know of anything happening around the tri-state area this summer? I know there's a picnic in central park on may 15th.

 

Can we move the gatherin up a week? There's to many festivals I need to be at the week of the 4th.

 

The gathering will never change dates .The fourth is the holliest day in rainbowland.It has become a tradition.you have to make your plans around the 4'th so you can make it to the gathering

 

I know. I was just thinking about all the music festivals the week of the 4th and it would be cool to be able to migrate to the gathering. Then again, the week of the 4th is cool cause all the forest service cops are busy elseware at parks adn campgrounds and wouldnt gang up on rainbows as bad.

 

Wish that were the case bro.
