    This shit bothers me.

Yeah, I'd rather see manning go free than osama dead, but within the realm of reality:

Obama has worked for a long time, as has his administration (under HIS direction/control after HE built it all) to get osama, who was previously in bed with bush. This is ONE military act of aggression that we can and need to show off. We didn't disgrace him or his corpse, we didn't hold him captive or torture him, we didn't make a showboating kangaroo trial for the world to see, we shot the motherfucker, did away with him in an honorable way that didn't create a monument to rally around, and that's all there is to it. While bush looked in unrelated countries and made an ass of himself and america, obama walked in, showed his birth certificate, and killed osama.

As I see it, the US is now square. No one thought this would happen, i personally believed osama dead. This is the only successful way to come out of the "war on terror". Bush said the words and fought a war for oil, obama went and got his man.

Obama is the commander and fuckin' chief of the armed forces of the united states of america, when he sets up and orders a go on a top secret "black"(until after it succeeded) op, it IS his op. If they killed the wrong guy, you'd be blaming obama for ordering them in there, but they shot the right one, so you say it was all them and not their commanders and their commanders intel.

A soldier is a weapon. They come in varying qualities, but when the president selects a high quality one and points it at a target, while he didn't personally do anything, yeah, the president killed that guy.

I do think obama is a coward for not keeping his word on ending medical marijuana raids, I think he's a coward for not officially calling for an end to the war on drugs, I think he's a coward for not doing everything he can to legalize drugs. But if he did it my way, he'd be comitting political suicide, and MAYBE even risking impeachment. Now he's got a second term to do this, and may he use it well, by growing a sack and ending drug prohibition and fixing our problems at home with no damn bailouts.

I just don't think the war on drugs is a big priority for him.

I also don't think the US is square, nor will we ever be.

Conspiracy theorists are demonized because we question what is being presented to us as "fact" by various sources. They used the entertainment industry to make us look like tin foil hat wearing idiots and Dale Gribble. Because we don't believe everything for face value, we are their number one threat.

Oh, I know, he doesn't give a SHIT.

Just another hypocritical pot smokin' blow sniffin' US president that's okay with locking people up for smokin' pot and sniffin' blow.

But after EVERYTHING bush dragged us through in the middle east, this pretty much brings us out of the woods: We got osama. From there on out, there's much less excuse to militarize and much MORE reason to peacefully and carefully work things out with everyone. Hopefully we've learned our lesson (HAH) about proxy wars and setting up despots, and now we can back off.

We're square with osama. If he was to live out his years and die of old age, to have a state funeral and buildings named after him in which to study his brilliant terroristic strategies, THAT would be failure. To declare a massive war on finding him, and for him to have died in a cave years ago, never to be found or known, THAT wold be a failure. But for once we did something right, we found and killed him.

Now; true enlightenment, the soul for the mountain rivers of Kashmir; woops, that was only a lesson from school which I sank down for the reverse re-read subject of the One Heart. The One heart became the One soul in recent times of the monistic supra-organic. There was the planet's one Soul: all the Things were in their right place, some of those things were of finite fillings for the expected activities of environmental survival.

I have just finished reading an article about bin laden and his death. The article claims that everything is fake and that bin laden has been dead for 9 years, and that he had died of marfan syndrome. I don't remember the name of it. The article also claims that the government was behind 9/11.

So.. it was all for revenge? I thought the purpose was to stop him from carrying out more attacks. If he lived peacefully and harmed no-one then it's not going to do much good killing him, except further alienating the US from those who sympathised with him (a large part of the middle east).

Bah, who am I kidding. Of course it was revenge, otherwise he would have been captured and brought to trial.

No they probably felt it appropriate to make their actions more historically important. They wanted the comparisons made to Hitler.

It changes daily if not hourly. I am not sure we ever will know the "real" story.

I can't explain why our first minority president felt it necessary to make this sort of blunder, but this article explains how the indigenous Americans feel about it usage.

No, it's because you believe idiotic stuff despite overwhelming evidence and logic to the contrary. And you don't think for yourselves, led like sheep to the pasture of ignorance to graze upon misrepresenntations, misquotes and mutual hysteria.

And you believe it! Pass it on to 20 of your closest friends within 24 hours or you will suffer bad luck for the next year.

Your belief system is just another arbitrary belief system. It screens out anything that doesn't fit into it and therefore makes what you say "TRUE". Once you accept the possibility that your reality tunnel isn't the one true unquestionable reality the whole world opens up.

Your belief system is just another arbitrary belief system. It screens out anything that is accepted by most people and therefore makes what they say "FALSE". Once you accept the possibility that your imagination tunnel bears no resemblance to reality the whole world opens up.

This is also a possibility. There is a chance and, depending on perspective, a quite high possibility that I'm insane. That has never been satisfactorily been eliminated as a possibility.

I would really like to believe this is true, but I think it might cause the opposite reaction. Osama's most fervent followers aren't going to call it square and walk away. I think there will be retaliation, and I also think the US government will use retaliation as an excuse to tighten security and further strip us of our rights.
