    Why do you say that? The septic system IS part of the plumbing system. If something in the plumbing system fails, something in the septic system could very well fail along with it. Above all, whether it gets inspected or not, having good everything is important, especially plumbing.

    But seriously, if I ever do seriously work towards this goal I would probably end up hiring subcontractors for at least electrical and plumbing.
