I'm 19 and this 28 year old wants to hook up with me. He made it clear that he doesn't want a relationship, and I don't know if I want one either, but how bad is our age difference?
there is nothing wrong with your age.. someone outside my views your relations different, only if you told them or its clearly an obvious cradle robin..
You guys are both adults, I don't see 9 yrs as that big of a difference, especially if you guys just want to hook up.
that age difference isnt that bad. thats 9 years. my grandma married a man 15 years older than her, and although they eventually divorced they've done good overall, and considering it doesnt sound like your relationship will get to the point of marriage then im sure its fine. also just last week i went on a date someone 15 years older than me. no biggy. he wasn't exactly the one i'd be in a love relationship with but thats cuz of differences in personality. the age itself shouldnt be a disclaimer, but conflicting differences, like with any other area of relationships, should be thought out. and you're a guy correct? in gay culture there is absolutely nothing wrong with 9 years age differences. i'd say its more normal than not.
For a change I wish one of these questions would read more like this... I'm considering a mutual usury circumstance with a hottie who is older than I am; my only reservation obviously is the age difference, because when I develop feelings for him I would like your ideas and opinions on the subject for when time comes to approach my friends and family about the relationship. Oh and my next new post will be about how in love I am and the feelings aren't mutual; at this point I will be looking for your compassion and empathy Thank you for that in advance. (You’re playing with hot water with someone who shows interest in you solely for sexual purposes) PS if you were the 28 year old and you were looking to prey on a 19 year old I would be telling him the same thing.
