and the cops were called on me half hour later because I was on "private property". The park we have with a basketball court is trash, it has no net and is tilted. Who would want to play soccer or hockey with no net and a tilted goal post? If I was parked 20 feet to my left I would be fine and not trespassing. There were no signs of any kind to let me know i was trespassing. The cop never said anything about not using the brand new hoop. The only days I can sneak in and make a few shots are saturday and sunday since all the workers are gone.

Im going back where the pig wanted me too park, and i'm still gonna shoot next saturday or sunday. We will see what happens. I will be wearing the shirt again. :beatnik:

I found it ironic. I haven't talked to the cops in months, tell yesterday.

very interesting occurrence. I would assume it's coincidental though.

Better yet Broony, next time you go back wear an NWA t-shirt that reads, "Fuck Tha Police" on it.

I'm inclined to think though that this was a coincidence. Nosey people with nothing better to do will often call the cops on someone who is tresspassing, it's happened to me lots, pools, tennis courts, etc.

I don't think a lot of people really know who Che was/what he stood for.

At least he got it from Cuba. Some people don't mind that he was a murderer. Go worship Mandela.

...Che Guevara was a communist Marxist anti-capitalist. There’s people making money off his image. You love him so much but can't see the irony in that? He must be spinning in his grave. And good for it, he's a douche. It doesn't even matter if his intentions were at first helpful. He killed many cubans trying to push his political agenda. Which makes him just like any other political puppet.

Everybody knows already people have been making money off this icon of anti-capitalism. Ah well, perhaps not everybody but I'm pretty sure the OP did. That Che had lots of blood on his hands is no secret either, I guess people are able to respect him even if they have pacifist tendencies themselves. Weird world huh, it's not black/white after all.

Are you kidding me? Half the people who wear his t shirt have no idea. They just wear it because it's trendy and they're sheep.

I will once I find a good one. FTP shirts are very expensive online and hard to find in stores. I will find one someday.

He is a figure who most have an opinion on. In my experience the vast majority of americans look at him as an assassin murderer of his own people. If you talk to people native to cuba, and parts of south america you will hear less bad and more good. Revolution is never without blood shed.

A 13ft high bronze statue in Rosario stands facing towards Santa Clara, Cuba, with another statue facing towards Argentina. When they were revealed, for both, it was nothing but applause.

Talk to the natives in person and you will get a different message altogether.

Ignorance over the years, and one sided taught biased stereotypes has ruined the image in many parts of the world, especially america.

This is not so in other parts.

I thought half the people wearing his T-shirt thought they were wearing the lead singer from Rage.

I shit you not, I was at a flea market and I overheard these 15 year olds who pulled a Che shirt from the rack and said "whoa, it's the lead singer from rage!"
