getting chased by the one they're about to slaughter (we're getting 1/4 for $300.) :2thumbsup: Feeding the new mommas. btw I'm not that chunky, I'm wearing 2 hoodies. It was so funny, they started licking my feet and trying to get food out of my hoodie pockets. Getting chased...they know there's food in there.
cool! i think cows would be too big for me to raise, but one day id like to be able to buy my beef that way. look at all the adorable food!
They're such sweethearts...they're really good, well taken care of cattle. I mean, I was petting them and rubbing their sides and noses and ears... A pregnant cow, who's back is about a foot taller than me, let me feel her sides and belly. It was amazing! They get a lot of attention for livestock. They're very expensive to purchase and raise. Once you're established though...my husband's uncle, who owns these cattle, is a pretty successful rancher...of course, in this day and age being successful in agriculture means you're scraping by and not drowning in debt. It's not luxury by any means.
Unfortunately cattle are one of the biggest causes for a multitude of problems the world faces ecologically
I would have never thought you were chunky.. I was actually thinking that it would be nice to be that thin, then I saw your comment and was like 'wow, what a bitch' lol
I didn't mean to offend you! I have a set of standards for my own body...that doesn't mean I judge anybody else's.
