Is it possible? Since I was a child, I always felt I was previously in some asian country. I even had dreams about it. And I even recognize some chinese characters. But then for the longest time I realized it couldn’t be possible. Even afterwards, I experienced extreme deja vu when I went to a Japanese garden. Example, 木 means tree, or wood. Looked it up in a translator, and what do you know! That’s what it means. I know a couple more. I started studying Japanese a few months ago (which a lot of the writing system is based on chinese) and occasionally I know the meaning to some of the symbols before I ever get to learn the translation. Am I just a good guesser? Do I just have great skills in interpreting symbols? Do I just have some unrealized super fascination about asian culture? Or am I just crazy?
I would have guessed tree also. However I do believe at least some have past this way before. A small child amd I were watching a german movie that was dubbed in english. Playing with the child I asked what the soldier had said and the child quoted what was dubbed on the screen perfectly.
You have an unrealized fascination with Asian culture. Travel here for a while. It's not beyond your means, and it's good to experience other cultures. You yearn for something more for than your surroundings so you interpret symbols in dreams to be more than what they are. Go out an experience them. No. I'd be a Buddhist, if it weren't for the fact that I don't believe in past lives or any sort of afterlife. We are complex organic matter, and when we die we die. So go out and experience your dreams now.
I hope reincarnation exists. I intend to be born in a more temperate climate next time, and get laid more frequently. What if we have all been around on earth since the beginning of life, and we've known each other the whole time. Mind you where did our souls come from in the first place, and presumably since there are more people on the planet than ever before most of us must have been animals in previous lives. I wonder if we will see the reincarnation of the Dalai Lama in our lifetimes?
let us instead hope that he outlives us, and that we ourselves have long lives the issue of reincarnation for his holiness has become a very political question as for your own favorable reincarnation, focus on doing good deeds and avoid misdeeds this is the surest path to getin' booty where it's warm in your future life
Maybe the reason were crying when were born is because we are just folding over from a previous mental existance. The sadness of a past life, incomplete in its goals, emotions and mind...gets another chance. Though it may be tens of thousands of years that bridge this new life and the 'soul' that its regenerating from. It cannot speak, has lost all of its basic motor functions (due to the new body) and through the first few months of its existence it begins a gradual forgetting of its past and a gradual learning of its new surroundings, body and circumstance. Once it gets to be a toddler all is forgotten, and all of what it now learns is new. Though its past life may differ the decisions that the new one makes, poking through tiny holes in the said persons 'reality', the person in question feels an absolute sense that they have been faced with this situation before. ...Nah I'm just fuckin' with ya. But hey it's all fun to think about.
Energy cannot be destroyed, but it doesn't stay in the same form. Your thoughts are not permanent, the energy that makes them is obtained from other places. The fact that energy cannot be created or destroyed means nothing here, in other words.
Its possible that you did have a past life. Anything is possible I suppose.......so why not past lives? Just a thought.
I think the notion that we live our lives and then we die and that's it, is born out of the mechanistic view of life. Modern theories are more elaborate and complex. The fact that we are here at all is in itself is a great mystery, and what consciousness- seeing, hearing, feeling, thinking- is is already perplexing. If our existence and all the matter and light in the universe is a construct of Mind, then so too may the existence of souls and spirits. It is by no great stretch of the imagination to consider that souls and re-incarnation are not possible as well.
Man I was having sme freaky shit happen to me today. But yes I qlways think I can remember things from another time/place
Energy is the construct of reality there for it indeed does mean everything here and in all words. Everything that exists is a literal construct of energy. What has existed will always exist. There are more layers to this universe we live in then are limited and primal 5 senses can pick up on.
