I fucking love it. everything is coming back to life, but its been really wet this spring so far in ohio.
Every morning I wake up to the songs of birds. When I go outside I can smell so many sweet, pleasing scents. I can dip my feet in the water again, lay in the grass, bicycle mile and miles. I love it. Just a few weeks ago I watched a beaver come out of his winter burrow in the side of a muddy bank. He came out, went for a quick dip in the pool, then went back to his bank and started gnawing away on some branches. He'd then drag the gnawed off branches back to his shore and pile them neatly. I got to watch this from 12-15 feet away.
Loving spring. Out of a sudden everything is so lush and green and easy to go with ... it's still cool and probably will stay cool until the beginning of June. When it rains though it's a warm and mellow rain, filling the air with still more scents, bringing up still more flowers, later, when all that's left from the rain is a delicate mist. The apple trees seem to have disappeared underneath a thick layer of white blossoms, looking much like the puffy thundercloud towering above in the sky. And no more need to fire the stoves all day, yeah.
Spring is just coming to Upstate New York, but it is starting to be glorious! The sun is actually out today, and last night the t-storm was glorious and the electricity was in the air. My arm hairs even stood up. This last winter was the longest and hardest I have ever lived through...
I hate spring and I hate summer I vote for fall and winter all year round everywhere I go You guys can have your humidity and your overheating and your misery to yourselves, fuck summer
:2thumbsup: Nothing Gold Can Stay Nature’s first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf’s a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. – Robert Frost Hotwater
