Roosevelt (FDR) was not only aware it was coming but, in fact, welcomed it." Usually belief is a symbol chosen to represent an unknown variable. In this case, it is to substitute for what is known.
The reason why the Japanese attacked Pearl was the US was a major oil exporter of the day and embargoed Japan. It also enbargoed other raw materials from Japan. This was NOT because FDR wanted war with Germany, it was because the Japanese were building an empire in Asia were the US wanted one and had parts. (see Philipene Islands) They DID know of a coming attack but had no clue where. They thought that Pearl was safe because of two things, distant and the shallowness of the harbor. It's easy for someone AFTER the fact to see clues point here or there knowing where the dots all lead, but before the event it was hard to determine where in the Pacific an attack would be. I call BS on this intentional crap and Bush was too stupid to "conspire" the 9/11 attacks too.
I don't believe the conspiracy/hoax part. The US was complacent in it's security at Pearl. The clues were there. I might add that the world was a different place back then with a lot of budding ideologies. Colonialism was a very real part of national growth. There were quite a few events leading up to Pearl Harbor going back at least before WW1. It wasn't against the USA, it was against Euro intrusion into Asia.
Yup, it's absolutely true every bit of it . With out the much needed United States involvement we would all be speaking German , Japanese or Italian right now . The axis powers were a incredibly powerful foe , at that time the allied powers could not handle the situation alone . Without the u.s. involvement all would have been lost . It was an excuse to enter the war , as the American people and congress were not in support of entering it . And the sad thing is I think the exact same thing happened on 9-11 , 2001 . I believe they knew that attack was coming too , and let it happen also .
I thought it was public fact known that parlor harbor was known by FRD to happen before the event were to happen and that the japs were coming only allowing the US war propaganda machine to be fueld in to war by using such event to promote unite amongs the US people to join the war.....
