hey guys i have a small glass bong and a nice glass spoon that have been collecting resin for years now. i am boiling up a pot of water right now down stairs and i am going to cut up 3 different citrus fruits (lime, lemon, and orange) to use as a natuaral cleaner. i also will use a small amount of sea salt. ill let you guys know how it comes out!:love:
citrus oils (present in the zest) can be pretty powerful, but i bet they'll help with the smell. i just use rubbing alcohol. rubbing alcohol and salt for really stuck on stuff thats hard to reach.
That would be my suggestions, as well. Just make sure to cover all of the holes and shake the piece for a minute or two.
so i boiled up a bunch of cut up citrus fruit and put some kosher salt in there then used tongs to hold the bowl and shake it in the solution, got it very clean looked brand new before i smoked a few bowls out of it today!
rubbing alcohol + salt is by far the most efficient way to clean a pipe.. it turned my hard water stained.. 10 years of resin bong look like i bought it that day once i used that combo
i made my own little bong cleaner, i was gonna market this badboy. simple concept. 1 magnet goes in the bong, 1 magnet goes on the outside, once you get the magnets to stick through the glass you can pull the magnet outside and it moves around the one inside of your bong. so just drag it and it scrapes the resin off it in all the impossable places to reach.. you can wrap it up in wiremesh to make it more effective. but just the magnet works pretty good. use to have the cleanest most beautiful bong
