Non-prescription glasses.

What do you think of people who wear non-prescription glasses when they don't even need glasses? Like these:

 

I like the way I look in glasses. I've been temped to buy a pair, but it made me feel extremely lame, so I didn't.

So I guess I think those people are pretty lame.

 

My coppers on issue:

I have no problems with it.
Why should fashion eyewear be any different than say, wearing a bracelet or necklaces.

Shitty frames are lame, prescription or not.
Great frames look great, prescription or not.

 

I dont care. I do have to wear prescription glasses though.

 

I think that those people like to wear glasses.

It's kinda silly though, and depending on their personality, I might be tempted to assume they are trying to look smart (which is actually rather cool, when you think about it, but gives me a cringe)

 

I think it's kind of lame too. But I like the way I look in glasses and I also love the look of dreadlocks + glasses. Thank you all for your thoughts.

 

Sometimes I wish I didn't have 20/20 vision so I could wear cool glasses without feeling lame. Wishing for horrible vision is probably ten times lamer than just buying fake glasses.

 

I wish the same thing. Everytime I'm at the doctors I check to see if my vision has magically changed. I am pretty lame. /:

 

I need glasses, but hate wearing them.


I guess if people want to wear them as a fashion thing, thats fine. I think its kinda lame though.

I have no idea why anyone would do that. Wearing glasses sucks, they get in the way, you constantly bump them with your hands, always having to push them up your nose, the frames hugely looming around the edges of your vision, giving you a headache.

 

Hell yeah! I love it.

 

I hate wearing my glasses and have been stuck with them for years because it's too expensive to get new ones and contacts at the same time.

Why don't you like wearing glasses?

I mean there's nothing wrong with wanting to wear glasses if u like the way they look, I just know when I was in second grade I had to get glasses and I cried for like, 3 days about it. But now I like them. My face doesnt look like MY face with out them I think. I guess I just think it's silly to wear fake glasses....

 

I have some fake cat's eyes glasses with rhinestones that I used to wear a lot in high school. I don't so much anymore... Not now that it's seen as a fashion statement and means all kinds of shit.
Plus I have had them for like 8 years. I'm just over them.

 

I wear glasses since I work outdoors in hot, sweaty and dirty conditions and don't want to be bothered with contact lenses at work.
