just saw it and.... i lliked it. a lot of people are saying that it wasnt good but i disagree. i actually thought that even though it moved kind of fast and nothing was really allowed to develop, i thought the ending was really good. i never would have suspected the killers. its hard to shock us seeing that we already kind of know what a scream movie entails, but overall i enjoyed it and liked it more than the third one.
NO WAY! It was more funny than scary, the girl was trying to kill herself (and I laughed my ass off) and seriously... REALLY BAD! And I get scared really fast and easy and I hate horror movies. This one was totally lame. But, if you think so By the way I love your trippy image, I couldnt stop staring at it :afro:
yea i guess it didnt really feel like a horror movie. maybe i just wanna like it because i like the series. lol
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/scream-4/ didn't do too bad in rotten tomatoes i was expecting an awful rating considering it's scream.
I just watched it. Also thought it was quite good, had a low expectation of it but it delivered the goods. Managed to pull of being tongue in cheek and self referential without being overly cliched, even though that was the whole point. I remember liking the first three when they came. Think I even went to the cinema to see the first two as well, people still did that kind of thing in those days. The original Scream was supposed to be a tongue in cheek self referential take on the horror genre of the 80's of which Wes Craven was a large part of, most notably with Nightmare on Elm Street. And now he's done it again, only this time it's a kind of tongue in cheek look at a film that was already.. and so on... Quite violent at the end I thought, but his films have always been bloody. Always done with plenty of slap stick humour though in the Scream films, and this one is no exception. There were a few hilarious stabbing moments in Scream 4, especially near the end. + Emma Roberts is in it :xmasnut: and a couple of the original sex kittens from the previous films have evolved into some interesting cougars.
I love the Scream movies, my favorites! Scream 4 won't be in my collection of movies though it was okay to watch the 2nd time but not worth keeping.
