Complaining About the TSA Will Get You Targeted As A "Possible Criminal/Terrorist"

TSA gives the US a bad name! So much for freedom of speech (even though that went out the door years ago). I'm glad that I'm too poor to fly, lol.

I wonder if the US tourism industry has anything to say about this. People around the world must be looking at these antics and deciding they will not take that family visit to the US they planned, and instead go somewhere where maybe they won't be assaulted, like Zimbabwe or Pakistan.

 

I actually had plans lined up to go to New York City this summer for 10 days. Planned it like a year ago.

Not any more. Think I'll stay in Canada, go out west.

 

Privacy simply means nothing, in this day and age. It's really quite saddening...

 

Terrorist Seeking Assholes.

I went through Sky Harbor Intl. Round christmas time. Right around when they were getting a lot of controversy. I was very nervous about being possibly felt up by the gloved back hand of a nasty looking man and decided to leave my weed at home.

I get there, and no one is even in line. All that happened was I passed through the metal detector and that was it. No body scan, no feel ups. Just grab your shit, and 'have a good day sir'.

You'd better believe I would have put up a fight of sorts. I don't give in as easily as most of these 'seasoned' veterans of fear. I've had a strong arm braced against it from the beginning, and I will to the end...

I really have no urge to fly anymore. I've always had a bad case of wanderlust and I really love nothing more than spending a day traveling and catching planes, but this has really destroyed all my desire to travel by plane.

What the fuck? A few years ago the above statement would have been preposterous to me.

 

Join the army, and once you're out you can hitch a ride on a transport anywhere, or so I'm told.

I try to always stay in Canada when I have to go to Detroit. Windsor's a cool little town. Everyone's so nice and friendly. I got to know lots of Canadians when on Dead tour and at the Michigan 500, I'm not a NASCAR fan but would get free tickets most years from salesmen and take my boys. They sure know how to camp! One guy had made a hot shower contraption. And he didn't charge anything! Ah nothing like a free hot shower when camping. lol

Same here. I used to luv to fly. No more. TSA has taken security to ridiculousness. Strip searching little kids and old ladies. It's shameful.

They will tell you that the reason it doesn't happen is because there are now more security measures in places. That's bullshit. There never were any boogie men. What's secure is the government's confidence that it now has almost complete control and surveillance over the public.

Buy a 30 caliber rifle. No, not a 30-30 lever action or your uncles Savage 30.06 deer rifle....

On your next available day off from work visit your neighborhood mom and pop gunshop and ask questions about your second amendment freedoms.

If the people there act like they just want to sell you the most expensive rifle they have or perhaps they know less than you do about the second amendment take your leave and hit the Yellow Pages. Or go online to find another store. Or drive out to a shooting range and chat with the range workers or the shooters themselves. Be friendly and inquisitive and like as not you will find someone who will take you "under their wing" and impart upon you knowledge you would NEVER get in any public school in my Amerika these days.

The course takes a couple or 3 days. You will be instructed on early American history and The Revolutionary War among other things. It will be time well spent.

This post of Lunaverse's is precisely why I've been saying for the last year or so why Amerika is rife for the next revolution. Yes I am talking about a shooting war on Amerikan soil. There was a book came out about 15 or 16 years ago called Unintended Consequences by John Ross. I think most of you here on this thread are or could be freedom fighters if you're continually bombarded with anti freedom rules and regs. Those of you that are getting tired of the surveillance cameras EVERYWHERE, the no knock warrants, the cops with their dirty tricks denying you of your civil rights in routine traffic stops and asset seizures among their other nasty surprises really seriously NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!!
