perhaps i was a bit hasty there. education before defamation and all that. there are plenty of ways to avoid self incrimination if you are so inclinded. you should talk to people you know in person who grow them... i never grew shrooms... i grow peyote, which is wicked fucking easy to grow......! i know that mushrooms grow great in heavy humidity and shit-tons of compost, kind-of cool-to-lukewarm places....
I've grown B+, Golden Teacher and a few strains that are native to the deep South. They're all easy to grow and I haven't really noticed much difference in potency between them. And if you go to the shroomery, they look down on using SWIM too. Only I AM SWIM can get away with it without being heckled.
